Jung Hae In and Jung So Min’s ongoing romantic comedy K-drama, Love Next Door, is set to conclude filming in early September. The news comes as the script for the final episode has been completed by the show’s writer, Shin Ha Eun.

According to Joy News 24 on August 30, 2024, Love Next Door will finish its filming schedule in early September.
Furthermore, the writer of Love Next Door, Shin Ha Eun has finally completed writing the script for the last episode 16 and so the actors are now busy with the final filming. Love Next Doors’ writer Shin Ha Eun is well known for her superhit rom-com K-drama Hometown Cha Cha Cha.
Cast and Crew
Love Next Door stars Jung Hae In as Choi Seung Hyo and Jung So Min as Bae Seok Ryu. The cast also includes Kim Ji Eun as their childhood friend Jung Mo Eum and Yoon Ji On as Kang Dan Ho. The drama is directed by Yoo Je Won, known for his previous work on successful K-dramas such as Hi Bye, Mama!, Hometown Cha Cha Cha, and Crash Course in Romance.
Storyline and Premiere
Premiering on August 17, 2024 on tvN and Netflix, Love Next Door airs new episodes every Saturday and Sunday. The series tells the story of Bae Seok Ryu and Choi Seung Hyo, childhood friends who reconnect as adults, reigniting old feelings and embarking on personal healing. Bae Seok Ryu returns from the US after a decade, having left her job and ended her engagement to restart her life. She reunites with Choi Seung Hyo, now the CEO of an architecture firm, who had unspoken feelings for her during their teenage years. Their shared friend, Jung Mo Eum, encounters a stranger, Kang Dan Ho, leading to further romantic developments.
