BTS‘s lead vocalist, Jeon Jungkook, will soon be featured in a new documentary titled “I Am Still”, set for a limited release in cinemas worldwide on September 18, 2024. The announcement was made by Bighit Entertainment, the agency managing BTS, through a social media post.
Documentary Highlights Jungkook’s Eight-Month Creative Journey
The film “I Am Still” offers an intimate look into Jungkook’s life and career, focusing on his eight-month process of creating his album. The documentary includes exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and highlights from his concert performances. It aims to showcase Jungkook’s dedication to his craft and his journey of personal and professional growth. According to the official synopsis, the documentary also captures Jungkook’s connection with his global fanbase, known as ARMY.
In their social media post, Bighit Entertainment shared, “JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL, Sep 18, in Cinemas Worldwide.” The post included a link to the film’s official website for more information.
BTS Members and Their Current Status
As of now, Jungkook is serving his mandatory military service in South Korea, along with the other BTS members—RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and V. The eldest member, Kim Seokjin, also known as Jin, has completed his service and is no longer in the military. BTS is expected to resume their group activities in the latter half of 2025 after all members have fulfilled their military duties.
