Kevin Jonas has shared his struggles with mental health after finishing the Jonas Brothers’ latest world tour. The singer admitted he started seeing a therapist to cope with the emotional highs and lows of life on the road.

The Jonas Brothers recently completed their seventh world tour, “THE TOUR,” which ended in Krakow, Poland, in October 2024. The band performed over 130 shows across multiple countries, leaving Kevin physically and mentally drained.

Kevin described the tough transition from constant performances to normal life.

“All the depression, bluesโ€”it’s real, especially after a tour. After our last tour, we did over 100 and something showsโ€”it was too manyโ€”and we ended in Europe.”

His journey back home made things worse. His flight was delayed multiple times, adding 18 extra hours to his travel.

“I took the first flight out from Poland to go through Munich to get home and was delayed for like seven hours. Then they made a random stop in Nova Scotia. It took me an extra 18 hours to get home, and I was already fatigued and burnt out.”

His wife, Danielle Jonas, noticed he wasnโ€™t himself.

“My wife was like, โ€˜Something’s wrong with you, are you okay?โ€™ I actually had to go start talking to a therapist about it, how to process the highs and the lows. Itโ€™s so jarring.”

Kevin also spoke about his brother Nick Jonas, who is currently starring in the Broadway musical “The Last Five Years.” He explained how emotionally demanding acting can be compared to their concerts.

“[Nick] really has to live in this, and I think he takes it home with him too. He leaves the theater every night feeling depressed. Itโ€™s a lot to bear.”

Despite the challenges, the Jonas Brothers are preparing for their “JONAS20” tour in August 2025, celebrating 20 years as a band. Kevin said the upcoming tour will be special.

“Itโ€™s gonna be really special. You know, it’s 20 years of the band, but really it’s just about us going back on the road to celebrate.”

Fans reacted strongly to Kevinโ€™s honesty about mental health. Many praised him for speaking openly about therapy and post-tour struggles.

The Jonas Brothers have always been open about balancing fame and personal well-being. In 2023, Joe Jonas also talked about avoiding burnout during tours.

“Weโ€™ve been burnt out before, and then youโ€™re like, โ€˜I still got 20 more shows.โ€™ We make sure to communicate and prioritize health.”

The bandโ€™s new album, “Greetings From Your Hometown,” will release on August 8, 2025, just before the tour begins. Kevin said the album reflects their musical journey.

“[The album] really encapsulates where we were and where we came from. Iโ€™m excited for people to hear it.”

Kevinโ€™s decision to seek therapy has sparked important conversations about mental health in the entertainment industry. Many artists face similar struggles but rarely talk about them.

The Jonas Brothers continue to inspire fans worldwide, not just with their music but also by being open about their challenges. Their upcoming tour is expected to be one of their biggest yet.
