Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, has announced they will pursue strong legal action against the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute (Ga Se Yeon) for spreading false and damaging claims. The agency denies all accusations, including those related to the late Kim Sae Ron.
Denying False Accusations
Gold Medalist released a statement on the 10th, firmly stating, “The claims made by Garosero Research Institute regarding Kim Soo Hyun on YouTube today are completely false.”
The agency addressed specific accusations:
“They alleged that our company and Kim Soo Hyun colluded with YouTuber Lee Jin Ho to harass the late Kim Sae Ron, that Kim Soo Hyun had been dating the late Kim Sae Ron since she was 15, that our agency’s response to her drunk driving accident was unfair, and that our company’s manager had a close relationship with YouTuber Lee Jin Ho. These accusations, along with numerous other malicious claims against our company and Kim Soo Hyun, are entirely false, and we cannot overlook them.”
Gold Medalist made it clear they will not tolerate these false statements. “Our company will consider taking the strongest legal action possible against Garosero Research Institute for spreading false information,” the agency stated.
Remembering Kim Sae Ron and Condemning Harmful Rumors
The agency also addressed the passing of Kim Sae Ron, who was previously under their management. “We are deeply heartbroken by the news of the late Kim Sae Ron’s death, as she was once part of our company, and we mourn her passing,” Gold Medalist said.
However, they criticized Garosero Research Institute for spreading rumors that they say are similar to online attacks that affected Kim Sae Ron when she was alive. “This is a direct repetition of the so-called ‘cyber wrecker’ behavior that deeply affected the deceased while she was alive,” the agency stated.
Gold Medalist argued that these false claims not only damage their company and Kim Soo Hyun, but also harm the reputation of the deceased for personal gain. They promised to respond with strict legal measures.
Call for Public Restraint
Gold Medalist urged the public to stop spreading false information. “Please refrain from spreading, amplifying, or reproducing baseless false information,” the agency requested, seeking to end the spread of misleading claims.
