Actor Lee Byung Hun recently shared photos from a heartwarming reunion with his high school classmates, adding a touch of humor that delighted fans. He expressed his gratitude for their support in a lighthearted way.

A Show of Support from Jungdong High School

On January 15, Lee Byung Hun posted several photos with the caption, “Thank you, Class 7 of Grade 3.” The photos showed a snack truck sent to the set of his upcoming film It Can’t Be Helped by his alumni from Jungdong High School.

The truck displayed banners with messages of support. One banner featured a photo of Lee Byung Hun alongside the message, “An irresistible love for Byung Hun, delivered with warm coffee – from Jungdong High School, Class of ’81, friends of actor Lee Byung Hun.” Another banner showed a group photo from the reunion with the message, “Wishing the successful filming and box office hit of It Can’t Be Helped.” The photos showed Lee Byung Hun and his classmates smiling and enjoying each other’s company. Their camaraderie was evident.

A Playful Jab at His Peers

Lee Byung Hun added a humorous comment to his post, captioning the photos, “Not teachers,” playfully teasing the mature appearances of his friends. This isn’t the first time he has shared amusing stories about his school friends.

During his 2023 appearance on tvN’s You Quiz on the Block, he shared a funny story about attending his high school reunion after many years.

“I hadn’t been to reunions for years, but I started attending about 3–4 years ago. When I saw my friends, I initially thought they weren’t my friends,”

he said, making a joke about how they had aged.

“At my first reunion, I was looking for our homeroom teacher and thought, ‘That must be him,’ only to realize it was a friend. My friends seem to have worked very hard in life.”

he added humorously.

Lee Byung Hun’s Personal and Professional Life

Lee Byung Hun married actress Lee Min Jung, who is 12 years his junior, in 2013. They have a son and a daughter. Recently, Lee Byung Hun returned as the Frontman in Netflix’s Squid Game Season 2 and is currently filming director Park Chan Wook’s new project, No Other Choice.
