After more than a decade away, Linkin Park is returning to Australia in March 2026 for a major arena tour. The band will be joined by acclaimed Sydney-born metalcore group Polaris as the special guest for all six shows across Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney. This tour marks the band’s first visit to Australia since 2013 and will introduce fans to their new lineup, including vocalist Emily Armstrong.
The Complete Australian Tour Schedule
Linkin Park will perform two nights in each of the three east coast cities. The tour begins in Brisbane before moving to Melbourne and concluding in Sydney.
The full schedule is as follows:
- Brisbane, QLD: Tuesday, March 3, 2026 and Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
- Melbourne, VIC: Sunday, March 8, 2026 and Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Rod Laver Arena.
- Sydney, NSW: Saturday, March 14, 2026 and Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Qudos Bank Arena.
These shows are part of the band’s global From Zero World Tour, supporting their latest album, which reached number one in Australia and multiple other countries.
Meet the Special Guest: Polaris
The band selected homegrown talent Polaris to open all shows on the Australian leg. The Sydney-based metalcore band has built a formidable reputation in the heavy music scene over the past decade.
Polaris has released three studio albums, received multiple ARIA Award nominations, and is known for their powerful live performances. The band expressed their excitement on social media, calling the opportunity “the honour of a lifetime.”
A New Chapter for Linkin Park
This tour represents a significant moment for Linkin Park, being their first Australian tour since their reformation with new members. The band’s current lineup includes founding members Mike Shinoda, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, and Joe Hahn, alongside new vocalist Emily Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain.
The tour follows the band’s period of hiatus after the death of former lead vocalist Chester Bennington in 2017. Mike Shinoda reflected on the band’s return, stating:
โThis tour and this album are one of our most successful of all time. That, for me, is insane. That is way beyond my hopes and dreams for what this whole thing could be.โ
Emily Armstrong shared her perspective on joining the iconic band, initially wondering, “Why do I think I can do this?” She told Shinoda she didn’t want to “ruin” Linkin Park, acknowledging the band’s important legacy.
