A fan who sneaked onto the set of Avengers: Doomsday and shared footage online has received a formal warning from Marvel Studios. The person, using the social media handle @theyneversawitcomingg, posted videos from the set before they were removed from platforms like TikTok and Instagram.

The leaked clips showed parts of the fictional island Madripoor, a location linked to Wolverine and the X-Men in Marvel comics. While the footage did not reveal major spoilers, Marvel took action to protect its secrecy. The fan later posted, “Received my first ‘formal threat.’ Might be cooked.”

Marvel has not publicly commented, but legal experts say such leaks can lead to serious consequences. Past cases include lawsuits against leakers of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and The Expendables 3.

Fans online had mixed reactions. One wrote, “Bro is getting sued to pieces,” while another joked, “Yeah Kevin Feige is definitely going to come find you.” Some warned the leaker to be careful, as Disney and Marvel are known for strict legal actions.

The movie, directed by the Russo Brothers, features a massive cast including Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, and returning X-Men actors like Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen. Filming is underway in Pinewood Studios, UK, with tight security to prevent further leaks.

Madripoor was previously seen in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, where Sharon Carter was revealed as the Power Broker. Its return hints at her possible comeback. Other rumors suggest the X-Mansion may appear, fueling theories of an Avengers vs. X-Men storyline.

Despite the leaks, most plot details remain hidden. Even actors like Kelsey Grammer (Beast) and David Harbour (Red Guardian) admitted they haven’t seen full scripts. “I kind of knew I was gonna be in it, but I didn’t know anybody else was gonna be in it,” Harbour said.

Fake leaks have also spread online, with AI-generated images fooling some fans. Marvel has worked hard to keep surprises intact, especially with Avengers: Doomsday set for release on May 1, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027.
