The latest episode of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 12 delivered exactly what fans have been waiting for. The episode, which aired on March 23, 2026, brought together the series’ most powerful hero with the franchise’s most brutal vigilante.
The Sky Egg crisis reached its peak as Koichi Haimawari and Captain Celebrity fought to save everyone from a collapsing building. But when things looked hopeless, the Number One Hero arrived and changed everything in seconds.
All Might Shows Why He Is the Symbol of Peace
All Might made his grand entrance in Episode 12, and his appearance lived up to every expectation. Detective Tsukauchi called the hero after learning his sister was in danger at the Sky Egg. The call carried deep emotional weight, as flashbacks showed Tsukauchi’s sister had always tried to help people, even when it put her at risk.
When All Might arrived at the scene, he did not waste any time. He cleared the landing zone in seconds, moving so fast that nearby animals and people all stepped aside. The crowd immediately started cheering for him, recognizing the Symbol of Peace they had all come to trust.
Number 6, the main villain behind the Sky Egg attack, had created a massive bomb by combining remnants of three Nomus. His plan seemed unstoppable. But All Might swatted away the explosion like it was nothing. The contrast between Number 6’s desperate efforts and All Might’s calm power showed the huge gap between a lab-made villain and Japan’s greatest hero.
The episode also revealed more about Number 6’s past. He was created in a laboratory, made only for experiments. He found comfort watching the hero O’Clock, who represented freedom to him. Over time, his admiration for O’Clock turned into something darker and more dangerous.
Koichi Meets His Hero in Person
For Koichi Haimawari, Episode 12 was both the best and worst day of his life. He and Captain Celebrity nearly died during the Sky Egg collapse. Koichi pushed himself to the limit trying to save people, fighting through exhaustion and injuries.
But after the crisis ended, Koichi got to meet his biggest hero face to face. All Might walked up to him and gave him a signed hoodie. Koichi’s reaction was exactly what fans expected from the character. He immediately declared he would never wash it, turning what could have been a purely serious moment into genuine comedy.
The episode balanced these emotional highs and lows perfectly. One moment, Koichi was facing death. The next, he was holding a piece of clothing signed by the hero he admired most.
Knuckleduster’s Brutal Return
While All Might handled the Sky Egg threat, Knuckleduster was dealing with Number 6 elsewhere. The vigilante had tracked his target and set up for a clean shot. But just as he was about to fire, a bird flew into his line of sight. Number 6 reacted instantly, killing the bird out of pure malice before running toward his target.
What followed became one of the best action sequences in the entire series. Knuckleduster had stolen a quirk from Number 6 earlier and used it against him. He also recorded a message designed to slow down a speedster. When Number 6 stopped to listen, the clock kept counting down against him.
The animation during this sequence reached new heights. Knuckleduster pinned Number 6 down and fired multiple shotgun shells into him while sliding down an exploding building. The fluid movement and intense action showed the work of some of the best animators in the industry.
Knuckleduster did not kill Number 6 because he needed information. He wanted to know who was actually running the operation. Realizing there was no escape, Number 6 blew off his own arm using a bomb quirk to get away.
