Taeyong’s Solo Concert Film Set for Release
On September 5, 2024, Taeyong announced the release of his first solo concert film, TAEYONG: TY TRACK, through a video message. The film, shot before his military enlistment, captures the K-pop star’s exclusive concert footage from his February 2024 performances at the Olympic Hall in Seoul, South Korea. The film will showcase full performances, exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, and unreleased tracks, offering fans a closer look at his preparations and rehearsals.
Concert Footage and Exclusive Performances
The movie will feature performances from Taeyong’s second solo album, TAP, including debut performances of unreleased songs. Fans can expect to see an intimate view of the concert planning, rehearsal processes, and Taeyong’s unique creative vision. The immersive concert experience will be available in CGV theaters across South Korea with formats including ScreenX, 4DX, and ULTRA 4DX.

Global and Japan Release Dates
While TAEYONG: TY TRACK will premiere in South Korea on September 25, 2024, the film will also have global screenings on October 16 and 19, 2024. Additionally, Japanese fans can look forward to the movie’s release on October 18, 2024.
Taeyong’s Career and Military Service
Taeyong debuted as part of NCT, later becoming a permanent member of NCT 127 alongside Jaehyun, Yuta, Mark, Johnny, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Johnny, and Haechan. His first solo album, SHALALA, was released in 2023, with TAP following in February 2024. TAP explored Taeyong’s alternate ego, offering fans a fresh perspective on his artistic expression.
Taeyong held his first solo concert, TY TRACK, on February 24 and 25, 2024, which served as the foundation for the film. The star enlisted in the South Korean military on April 15, 2024, and is expected to be discharged in 2025.
Although NCT 127 made a comeback with their album Walk, Taeyong was absent from the official lineup due to his ongoing military service.
