The tension finally breaks in Nice to Not Meet You as actor Lim Hyeon-jun stops hiding and tells reporter Wi Jeong-sin how he truly feels. Episode 11, which aired on December 14, 2025, brings the long-awaited moment where Hyeon-jun confesses his feelings and reveals a major secret about his online identity. The episode mixes awkward group dates, a stressful press conference, and a dramatic confession in the rain.
A Chaotic Double Date and Rising Panic
The episode picks up right where Episode 10 ended, with a planned meeting between Jeong-sin and Jae-hyeong turning into a full-group event. Hyeon-jun and Hwa-young invite themselves along, leading to a painfully awkward scene at a cafe. The conversation turns to dating apps, with Hyeon-jun and Jeong-sin arguing about whether people can be sincere on them.
Later, alone in a car, Hyeon-jun questions Jeong-sin about her relationship with Jae-hyeong. She sharply asks why he is so interested in her personal life, hinting he might have feelings for her. Caught off guard, Hyeon-jun does not give a straight answer. Before leaving, Jeong-sin adds to his confusion by confessing she has feelings for someone else.
Hyeon-jun’s anxiety spikes for a different reason when director Park Byeong-gi mentions an upcoming press conference for their drama, Good Detective Kang Pil-gu. Hyeon-jun realizes that if Byeong-gi appears, Jeong-sin will see the man she met online as “Melomaster.” Fearing she will discover his deception, Hyeon-jun and Byeong-gi desperately try to find a way to stop the director from attending.
Jeong-Sin’s Dream and a Press Conference Crisis
Jeong-sin’s own feelings begin to surface in a telling dream. She dreams she is wearing a wedding dress at Hyeon-jun’s house, a sign her subconscious is closely linking him to ideas of intimacy and commitment. This dream leaves her visibly disturbed when she wakes up.
Meanwhile, she firmly handles another personal matter. She meets Jae-hyeong to return his umbrella and kindly but clearly turns down his romantic feelings. She suggests he may be interested in her only because she reminds him of his ex-girlfriend, Hwa-young.
The day of the press conference arrives, and Hyeon-jun is filled with dread. However, a last-minute emergency saves him: Byeong-gi suffers a sudden bout of severe indigestion (appendicitis, according to some reports) and is rushed to the hospital, making him unable to attend the event. The press conference proceeds smoothly without him. Hyeon-jun even manages to give special attention to Jeong-sin from the stage.
The Truth Comes Out in the Rain
Even with the immediate crisis over, the secret continues to weigh on Hyeon-jun. He learns from Byeong-gi that when Jeong-sin spoke of her feelings, she was talking about loving his character, Kang Pil-gu, and not necessarily him. This news worries him but also pushes him toward honesty.
He creates a new account on the Onion app under the name “Heartless Love”. Seeing that Jeong-sin (as “Soulishere”) has listed the rice cooker from their first deal for sale, he contacts her as a buyer and arranges a meeting.
Jeong-sin waits at the agreed location in the rain, holding the rice cooker. Hyeon-jun arrives, holding an umbrella. He then reveals two truths at once: he is the buyer, and he is the real person behind the “Melomaster” account. The episode builds to its climax with his long-overdue confession.
“You once asked me if I liked you… I do. I like you.”
The episode ends on this dramatic note, leaving Jeong-sin stunned in the rain as Hyeon-jun finally bares his heart.
