Red Giant Movies has successfully acquired the Tamil Nadu Theatrical Rights for the highly anticipated film, “Romeo,” starring the versatile actor Vijay Antony in the lead role. Presented by Meera Vijay Antony and produced by Vijay Antony Film Corporation, the film is set to dazzle audiences with a grand summer release.
Directed by the talented Vinayak Vaithianathan, known for his YouTube series “Kadhal Distancing” and the impactful Episode 3 of “I Hate You, I Love You,” “Romeo” features Vijay Antony and the talented Mrinalini Ravi in lead roles. The star-studded cast also includes Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Thalaivasal Vijay, Ilavarasu, Sudha, Sreeja Ravi, and more, each contributing to the film’s narrative.
The film, simultaneously made in Telugu under the title “Love Guru,” promises a compelling storyline and engaging performances. Vinayak Vaithianathan, making his directorial debut, has generated anticipation not only for the film’s cast but also for his previous notable works.
“Romeo” explores the chemistry between Vijay Antony and Mrinalini Ravi, combining elements of romance and drama. Filmmaker Vinayak emphasizes that it’s not just a run-of-the-mill romcom, stating, “Vijay Antony and Mirnalini Ravi play a married couple in the film. But I don’t want to restrict my film to the romcom genre; it is much more than that. It has a lot of drama and mass moments that will surprise the audience.”
