The new Korean drama S Line continues to surprise viewers with its unique story. In episodes 3 and 4, detective Lee Ji-wook (played by Lee Soo-hyuk) discovers a dark truth about himself while investigating a mysterious case. The drama, which started on July 11, 2025, is streaming on Wavve.
Lee Ji-wook Sees the Red Lines for the First Time
In S Line, some people can see glowing red lines above others’ heads. These lines show who they have been physically close with. The main character, Shin Hyun-heup (played by Arin), has seen these lines since she was born. But in episode 3, Lee Ji-wook finds a pair of special glasses that let him see the lines too.
When he puts them on, he is shocked to see many red lines above his own head. This means he has been with a lot of people in the past. The scene went viral online, with fans joking about his character being a “red peacock” or a “playboy detective.”

The Mystery Deepens With Kang Seon-a’s Death
Lee Ji-wook’s niece, Kang Seon-a (Lee Eun-saem), was bullied at school. She found the same glasses earlier and used them to blackmail a teacher. But in episode 2, she was pushed off a rooftop. In episodes 3 and 4, Lee Ji-wook refuses to believe her death was a suicide.
He starts his own investigation and finds out that Kim Hye-young, the girl who bullied Seon-a, is also missing. His boss wants to close the case, but Ji-wook keeps digging. Meanwhile, Shin Hyun-heup starts working at a motel and sees more crimes linked to the red lines.
Another Teacher Uses the Glasses and Uncovers Cheating
A school teacher named Jung-woo finds the glasses and wears them. He sees that his fiancée has been cheating on him with his best friend. Heartbroken, he breaks off the engagement. Later, he also discovers that his sister’s husband, Kim Byung-chul, is actually using a fake name and is married to another woman.

This leads to a dramatic confrontation, and Jung-woo leaves for Canada, but not before warning his sister about the truth.
A Disturbing Motel Crime Involving the Staff Teacher
In episode 4, a staff teacher at the school becomes obsessed with the music teacher. She spies on him through a hole in a motel wall and sees him with a celebrity. Later, she attacks the celebrity with a fire extinguisher and drugs the music teacher.
She tries to force herself on him, but he gets badly hurt. When she realizes he is bleeding, she takes her own life in the bathtub. Shin Hyun-heup sees the celebrity escape and calls the police.
