The SBS Entertainment Awards, which was supposed to happen at the end of 2024, has been moved to January 2025.
According to a report from Star News on December 31, SBS is planning to hold the awards show in January.
The 2024 SBS Entertainment Awards were originally planned for December 31 at 8:40 PM at the SBS Prism Tower in Seoul. However, after a plane crash involving Jeju Air at Muan Airport, SBS decided to Postpone the event. They made this decision because of the sad situation and how people were feeling.
Some other year-end award shows were recorded earlier and then shown later. But SBS said on December 30 that they would not be doing any recordings. They also said they haven’t decided how the awards will be given out.
SBS is now trying to find a new date for the event in January 2025. They are working to make sure the celebrities who will be there are available on the new date.
