Apple TV+ has officially renewed its sports comedy hit Stick for a second season. The show, starring Owen Wilson as a down-on-his-luck former golf pro, has become a fan-favorite, drawing comparisons to Ted Lasso for its uplifting and charming tone.
When and Where to Watch Season 2
Stick Season 2 was renewed on July 23, 2025, the day of the season one finale. The show is expected to return in 2026, though an exact date has not been confirmed.
The series will be available to stream on Apple TV+ in the United States and globally.
Release Schedule
Season 1 premiered with three episodes on June 4, 2025, followed by weekly releases. Season 2 is expected to follow a similar pattern once a release date is announced. The season one finale, “Déjà Vu All Over Again,” aired on July 23, 2025.
What to Expect in Season 2
Season 1 ended with Pryce Cahill (Owen Wilson) and his protégé Santi (Peter Dager) parting ways after Santi lost the ReadySafe Invitational, partly due to his estranged father Gary’s sudden appearance. However, the finale also teased Pryce’s own potential return to professional golf.
Creator Jason Keller has hinted at Pryce playing high-level golf and exploring the rivalry with his former partner Clark Ross. Season 2 is expected to follow Pryce as he attempts to get back into the game, and possibly a coach-and-mentee dynamic between him and Santi.

Owen Wilson will return as Pryce “Stick” Cahill, alongside Peter Dager (Santi), Marc Maron (Mitts), Mariana Treviño (Elena), and Lilli Kay (Zero). Timothy Olyphant and Judy Greer have been promoted to series regulars for Season 2.
New Faces
Billy Zane, known for his role in Titanic, has joined the cast in a recurring role for the second season.
