The team from Rainbow Taxi is back on the road. SBS’s popular action series Taxi Driver Season 3 has returned, bringing back its beloved cast of vigilantes. Lee Je-hoon as Kim Do-gi
Lee Je-hoon returns as the central hero, Kim Do-gi. He is a former special forces operative who now works as the primary driver for Rainbow Transport. His character is driven by a personal history with injustice, making him fiercely dedicated to helping victims. For the new season, Lee Je-hoon has promised a more intense and powerful performance. He mentioned that his character will be stronger and that the team will have more impactful side stories.
Kim Eui-sung as Jang Sung-cheol
Playing the mastermind behind the operation is Kim Eui-sung as Jang Sung-cheol. He is the CEO of the Rainbow Taxi company and the leader who coordinates the missions. In Season 3, his role expands as he steps further into the field, using his strategic mind to help the team tackle a complex human trafficking network that stretches to Japan.
Pyo Ye-jin as Ahn Go-eun
Pyo Ye-jin reprises her role as Ahn Go-eun, the team’s brilliant hacker. She is the digital expert who provides crucial technical support, from tracing criminals to hacking servers. The actress has expressed great pride in this project, calling “Taxi Driver” her proudest work. New and Returning Guest Stars
The new season introduces a roster of new villains and special appearances that challenge the Rainbow Taxi team. The show has teased the arrival of six new antagonists, making this season one of its most challenging yet.
A notable guest star is Yoon Shi Yoon, who makes a special appearance as the villain Cha Byung Jin. He plays the head of a used-car scam cartel in episodes 3 and 4. The actor underwent a significant physical transformation for the role, losing weight to portray the character.
Other confirmed guest roles include Kasamatsu Sho as Matsuda Keita, the head of a human trafficking ring in Japan, and Edan Lui from the Hong Kong boy group MIRROR. Edan Lui is making his Korean drama debut, playing Michael Chang, an Interpol inspector.
The season also features Mori Yusuke as a Japanese police inspector and Cha Si-yeon as I-seo, the client and victim who brings the first case to the team.
