The fourth episode of The Accident Season 2, titled “Crossfire,” shows a family completely falling apart as a terrible secret comes out. The episode, which arrived on Netflix on December 10, 2025, focuses on the crushing moment when Alex tells the truth about his mother’s crimes, breaking his relationship with Lucia and pushing his already dangerous father toward a final act of revenge.
This episode serves as a critical turning point. Old plans for revenge move forward, but a young man’s confession causes new and immediate damage, proving that the pain from the original tragedy is still destroying lives a year later.
A Son’s Plea and a Father’s Rage
The episode continues the tense story from the previous installment, with Charro now free from prison and focused on punishing his wife, Lupe, for her betrayal. However, his plan hits a major obstacle: his own son. Alex discovers Charro’s intention to kill Lupe and makes a desperate plea for him to stop.
Sebastiรกn Dante’s character Alex tells his father, “I don’t want to become a killer like you.” He is terrified that failing to stop this violence will permanently change who he is, showing his struggle to stay morally clean in a family full of crime.
Charro is torn between his need for revenge and his son’s emotional appeal. To manage the situation, he and his ex-wife Tamara decide on a different approach. Instead of direct murder, they craft a complex trap. Tamara approaches Lupe with a fake business proposal, offering to build a casino on Lupe’s land and give her a share of the profits. Lupe, whose company is struggling after the scandals involving Charro and her lawyer Ulises, is suspicious but ultimately agrees to the deal, not knowing it is all a setup by Charro and Tamara.
A Relationship Destroyed by Truth
While Charro plots, Alex faces his own crisis. He is struggling with the heavy knowledge that his mother, Lupe, ordered the murders that Charro was blamed for. He can no longer keep this secret from his girlfriend, Lucia, who is the daughter of his father’s enemy, Emiliano. In a moment of deep vulnerability, Alex confesses everything to Lucia.
This confession does not bring them closer; it destroys their bond. Lucia, horrified, wants to go to the police. Alex panics, begging her not to send his mother to prison. The pressure and the impossible situation become too much for Lucia. She tells Alex she “cannot take the drama anymore” and ends their relationship. The breakup is messy and emotional. An upset Alex gets into a physical argument with Emiliano when he shows up, and a distraught Lucia runs off and accidentally crashes her car.
This crash has severe consequences. When Daniela finds out, she directly blames Emiliano for the danger surrounding their daughter, coldly stating that he will “murder them all” just like their son, Rodri. This moment highlights how the original accident’s grief has twisted into constant blame and resentment, poisoning every interaction within the family.
Other Families on the Brink
The episode also follows the continuing breakdown of other marriages damaged by the past year’s events. Emiliano and Daniela’s attempt to reconnect physically fails when Emiliano is overwhelmed by guilt upon seeing a tattoo of their late son’s name, “Rodri”. Later, after the incident with Lucia’s car, Daniela refuses to let Emiliano touch her. He admits that their love might not be enough to fix what is broken, and she agrees to a divorce.
Similarly, Javier and Brenda’s marriage reaches a breaking point. Brenda reveals she legally changed their son’s name without Javier’s knowledge, a move he sees as erasing his role as a father. After a bitter fight where Brenda accuses him of having an affair, Javier seeks comfort with his co-worker Cayetana, and the two sleep together. This act of betrayal confirms the suspicions Brenda voiced, pushing their family into new turmoil.

A Trap is Set and a Cycle Continues
Meanwhile, the larger revenge plot keeps moving. Alex, heartbroken over his breakup with Lucia, goes to his father Charro for support. When Charro learns that Alex told Lucia about Lupe’s crimes, he gets angry, scolding his son for sharing the secret. However, he also decides to bring Alex to stay with him and Tamara, pulling his son deeper into his dangerous world.
The police begin to close in on Tamara, finding her sudden presence in town around the time of Charro’s prison escape suspicious. In a tense moment, Daniela arrives at Tamara’s house looking for Charro but is stopped by another character, Chelita, preventing a confrontation.
The episode ends on a note of finality and sorrow. Emiliano tells Daniela he will love her forever but knows it is not enough to save their marriage, and he leaves their home. As Daniela cries in agreement over the divorce, it is clear that the aftermath of the accident has ruined yet another family, proving that some damage can never be repaired.
