The Story: A Dangerous Bargain Behind Bars

The plot centers on an art teacher named Ahn Yoon-soo, played by Jeon Do-yeon. Her peaceful life is shattered when her husband is murdered and she becomes the prime suspect. While in prison, she meets a mysterious inmate named Mo-eun, portrayed by Kim Go-eun. Mo-eun is known as “the witch” for her ability to see through people. She offers Yoon-soo a shocking deal: she will confess to the murder in Yoon-soo’s place, but only if Yoon-soo agrees to carry out a murder for her first.

Outside the prison walls, two men are pulled into the case. Baek Dong-hun, a principled prosecutor played by Park Hae-soo, investigates the murder with unwavering determination. Meanwhile, Jang Jung-gu, a former boxer turned lawyer played by Jin Seon-kyu, fights to prove Yoon-soo’s innocence.
