Meet the Top 6 Finalists
Four artists were chosen directly by their coaches during the Playoff rounds. A fifth and sixth finalist were selected by public vote from the pool of eliminated playoff artists.
Team Reba: Aubrey Nicole
The 19-year-old from Pennsylvania earned her spot after a standout performance of “Black Velvet” during the Playoffs. She is notable as the only one-chair turn among the finalists.
Team Niall: Aiden Ross
The 20-year-old from Texas impressed coach Niall Horan with his performance of Damien Rice’s “The Blower’s Daughter”. Ross turned all four chairs in his blind audition with a version of Adele’s “Love in the Dark”.
“To think this guy’s 20 years old and has that talent, it’s frightening,” Horan said of Ross.
Team Bublé: Jazz McKenzie
The 31-year-old from Alabama won her finale position with a soulful take on Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’”. She also turned all four chairs in her blind audition.
Team Snoop: Ralph Edwards
The 30-year-old professional musician from California moved his coach to tears with his Playoff performance of “A Song For You,” securing his place.
“You touched me, man,” Snoop Dogg told Edwards. “You brought back a lot of memories”.
The Fan-Voted Finalists
The identities of the two additional artists voted into the finale by the public will be revealed during the Monday, December 15 episode.
How to Vote for the Winner
The power to choose the champion rests entirely with the viewers. Voting will open at the end of the Monday, December 15 performance show and will be open for a limited time.
You can cast votes using one of two official methods:
- Online: Visit NBC.com/VoiceVote and log in with your email address.
- Official App: Download “The Voice Official App” on your smartphone to vote.
Voting rules limit participants to one vote per email address.
Special Finale Performances and Events
The results show on Tuesday, December 16 will be packed with additional entertainment. Special guest performers confirmed for the finale include the seven-member girl group XG and singer-songwriter Khalid. Other reported performers include Riley Green, Zac Brown, and Noah Cyrus.
The finale will also reveal the winner of the season’s “Mic Drop” prize. Earlier in the season, each coach selected one artist from their team for a standout performance. America voted among these four, and the winner will earn a chance to perform at the Rose Parade on New Year’s Day.
Major Changes Coming for Season 29
