Fans of TOMORROW X TOGETHER, also known as TXT, received mixed news on June 26, 2024. While the group is currently riding high on the success of their latest mini-album and world tour, member Beomgyu will be taking a temporary break from some activities due to a hairline fracture in his left foot.

Beomgyu to Miss China Fan Sign Event

BIGHIT MUSIC, TXT’s agency, released a statement on June 26th informing fans about Beomgyu’s health condition and the impact on his upcoming schedule. The statement revealed that Beomgyu sustained a hairline fracture, which was discovered during further tests conducted for a previous ankle injury.

Doctors advised Beomgyu to prioritize rest and wear a brace for proper healing. While the agency acknowledged Beomgyu’s strong desire to participate in all group activities, they emphasized that his health would be the top priority.

As a result of this, Beomgyu will be unable to attend the upcoming fan sign event scheduled for China on June 29, 2024. This will undoubtedly disappoint fans who were looking forward to meeting the TXT member.

Focus on Recovery with Plans to Join Japan Tour

Despite the setback, there’s a glimmer of hope for fans. The agency announced Beomgyu’s intention to participate in the upcoming WORLD TOUR ACT: PROMISE in Japan. However, his participation will be closely monitored by medical professionals to ensure he doesn’t aggravate the injury.

BIGHIT MUSIC concluded the statement by expressing their commitment to supporting Beomgyu’s recovery and ensuring a speedy return to good health.

TXT’s Recent Activities

Formed by BIGHIT MUSIC, TXT has become a leading force in the K-pop scene. With each release, they solidify their position in the industry, captivating fans worldwide with their music and performances. Their latest mini-album, minisode 3: TOMORROW, dropped on April 1, 2024, and has been met with positive reception.

Fans are eagerly waiting for TXT’s upcoming performances in Japan, hoping to see Beomgyu back on stage soon after his recovery.
