TXT members Beomgyu and Huening Kai recently shared their admiration for BIGHIT MUSIC’s upcoming boy group, calling them “cute and hardworking.” The duo expressed their desire to be supportive seniors, just like BTS was for them.
TXT’s Support for Their Juniors
Beomgyu and Huening Kai met the new boy group, set to debut on August 18, and were impressed by their dedication. Beomgyu said:
“We met the juniors, and they’re such a cute and hard-working group. I want to keep cheering them on for their future activities. The Bangtan hyungs (BTS) had also told us to do our activities diligently, and when we met in person, they took care of us a lot. I want to become a good senior to the younger group as well.”
Huening Kai added that they first met the trainees two months ago and recently saw them again for a performance preview. He praised their skills and said:
“They’re all really good. I want to lock them up in praise prison and keep praising them. I want to say that they’re worth looking forward to.”
The new group includes five members: Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho. Some have already worked with TXT—Martin contributed to songs like Deja Vu, Miracle, and Beautiful Strangers, while James choreographed Deja Vu.
Following BTS’ Example of Mentorship
BTS has always been supportive of TXT, and now TXT wants to pass on the same kindness. Beomgyu recalled how BTS encouraged them before their debut and even comforted them during tough moments.
In 2019, V playfully pranked Beomgyu after a performance, making him tear up, but quickly hugged him and reassured him. Similarly, Jin gave TXT a shoutout at an award show before their debut, and Jungkook once gifted them bitter herbal tea as a joke.
Huening Kai also mentioned how BTS’ Jin recently sent them encouraging messages ahead of their 7th mini-album release, motivating them.
TXT’s Role as Seniors in BIGHIT MUSIC
With BTS currently on hiatus due to military enlistments, TXT is stepping up as the agency’s leading senior group. They want to create a welcoming environment for their juniors, just as BTS did for them.
The new boy group’s debut is highly anticipated, and TXT’s supportive words have already boosted fan excitement. MOA (TXT’s fandom) is emotional about Huening Kai no longer being the youngest in the company, but they’re eager to welcome the new group.
Recent Updates on TXT’s Activities
TXT recently announced a long-term break after their schedule at the 39th Golden Disc Awards on January 5, 2025. The group plans to rest and spend time with family before returning with new music. Earlier, leader Soobin took a break due to health concerns, but the agency assured fans he is recovering well.
Despite the hiatus, TXT remains active in supporting their juniors and preparing for future projects. Their bond with BTS and now their mentorship of the new group highlights the strong relationships within BIGHIT MUSIC.
