Typhoon Family episode 5, titled “Heaven, Where We Are,” picks up from the emotional ending of episode 4. Tae-poong’s impulsive decision in Busan to sign a distribution contract for safety shoes with CEO Park Yun-cheol of Shoe Park unfolds with serious consequences. Viewers learn that CEO Park, unable to repay debts to a loan shark, was brutally assaulted and left in critical condition.
Facing a cash crisis, Tae-poong had the option to spend five million won to buy 500 pairs of shoes. However, remembering his father’s teachings, he made a different choice. He decided to save CEO Park as a person, not just pursue money. In a shocking move, Tae-poong boldly put a palm print on a promissory note, committing to sell all 7,000 pairs of seized safety shoes to pay back the 100 million won loan shark debt incurred by CEO Park.
The most dangerous part of the agreement was a condition stating that Tae-poong would have to give up his eyesight if he failed to sell the shoes. This deadly promise raises the stakes for the young CEO, who is already struggling to keep his company and family afloat.

With the massive task of selling 7,000 safety shoes, Tae-poong and Mi-seon begin their first major operation together. They pour their energy into creating a passionate promotional video to market the shoes. Having long dreamed of becoming a corporate professional, Mi-seon has diligently studied business English. She finally gets her chance to use these skills, taking her first step as a global businesswoman by pitching the shoes directly in English to overseas buyers. Her confident approach showcases her growth from a bookkeeper to an essential trader in the company.
Teamwork and Growing Closeness
The new episodes highlight the evolving partnership between Tae-poong and Mi-seon. One scene shows Tae-poong fixing Mi-seon’s bow tie, indicating their growing comfort and closeness with each other. Meanwhile, Tae-poong also becomes aware that Baek-ho is plotting against him, leading to a confrontation where Tae-poong feels powerless against his rival.
