SEVENTEEN and Na PD have a long-standing close relationship, but no one expected the surprise Na PD had in store for the group. During SEVENTEEN’s promotional activities for “17 IS RIGHT HERE,” the popular producer stunned the group by cooking a heartfelt meal for all members, leaving them speechless.
Na PD’s Special Gesture
The unexpected moment took place while SEVENTEEN was filming the fan chant guide for their song “MAESTRO.” In a video uploaded on Na PD’s YouTube channel in May 2024, titled The God of Gratitude – Grateful to SEVENTEEN, it was revealed that Na PD (full name Na Young Seok) decided to show his appreciation for the group by personally preparing a meal for them.
Known for his work on NANA TOUR, Na PD and his assistant producer Jae Young carefully crafted a hearty meal as a thank-you gesture for SEVENTEEN’s dedication and hard work on the show.
Na PD’s Surprise Unfolds
Na PD went as far as grocery shopping himself for this special occasion, adding a personal touch to the meal. He even carved SEVENTEEN’s fandom symbol, a diamond, into a mushroom, paying tribute to their fans, known as CARAT. With the plan meticulously coordinated with SEVENTEEN’s team, Na PD timed his surprise appearance perfectly.
As the group was about to start the fan chant, Mingyu and Jeonghan were the first to notice Na PD’s arrival, looking completely stunned. Then, Seungkwan shouted, “Oh, what!” and the rest of the group realized what was happening.
SEVENTEEN’s Reaction to Na PD’s Home-Cooked Meal
Once Na PD revealed that he had cooked a meal for all of them, the SEVENTEEN members were genuinely touched. The boys couldn’t believe that the renowned producer had gone to such lengths to cook for them, and it brought back nostalgic memories of standing in school lunch lines.
The group’s leader, S.Coups, along with Joshua, Woozi, The8, Vernon, Hoshi, DK, Seungkwan, Wonwoo, Jun, and Dino, expressed their appreciation for Na PD’s thoughtful gesture. They were amazed by the delicious food and the care he put into it.
