In Season 4, his role expands. He is trusted with sensitive information, such as delivering Hector Salamanca’s medical chart to Gus. He also gets his hands dirty in the field, most notably in staging Arturo’s death to look like a cartel ambush. Tyrus meets his end in the Breaking Bad Season 4 finale, “Face Off.” He accompanies Gus to a nursing home where Hector Salamanca is living. After scanning Hector’s room for bugs and traps, he hands Gus a poisonous needle to kill his longtime enemy. However, Walt has rigged a bomb to Hector’s wheelchair. The bomb detonates, killing Hector, Gus, and Tyrus.
