YoonA and Ahn Bo Hyun are starring in a new romantic comedy movie called “Pretty Crazy.” The film is set to release in August 2025 in South Korea. The official poster and details about the story have been shared, creating excitement among fans.
The movie tells the story of Seon Ji (YoonA), a woman who turns into a devil every night at 2 AM. She has no memory of her nighttime self during the day. Gil Goo (Ahn Bo Hyun), her neighbor, is hired by her family to watch over her at night.
The poster shows YoonA with cartoonish devil horns, looking mischievously at Ahn Bo Hyun, who appears confused. The night sky in the background hints at the strange and funny events that will happen in the film.
Director Lee Sang Geun, who worked with YoonA in the hit movie “Exit” (2019), is leading this project. The film is produced by CJ Entertainment, known for many popular Korean movies.
Originally, Kim Seon Ho was cast as the male lead, but he left the project in 2021 due to personal issues. Ahn Bo Hyun replaced him in December 2021. Filming started in April 2022.
The movie was first titled “2 O’Clock Date” but was later changed to “Pretty Crazy.” The new title fits the wild and funny story better.
In May 2024, YoonA and producer Ryoo Seung Wan promoted the film at the Cannes Film Festival, making global fans curious about the movie.
The teaser shows YoonA’s character as a sweet pâtissier (pastry chef) by day and a chaotic devil at night. Ahn Bo Hyun’s character tries to handle her wild nighttime personality while falling for her daytime self.

The film is 115 minutes long and has been rated 19+ in South Korea, meaning it is for adult audiences. The rating suggests some mature or intense scenes.
