Guy Ritchie’s Return to the Sherlock Holmes World
Guy Ritchie is the driving creative force behind this series. He returns to the world of Sherlock Holmes after directing the 2009 film Sherlock Holmes and its 2011 sequel, A Game of Shadows, which starred Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. For Young Sherlock, Ritchie directed the first two episodes and serves as an executive producer.
The series aims to bring the same style of Ritchie’s movies—full of action, humor, and a fast pace—but applied to a younger character. The show’s official description promises it has “all the wit and charm of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes feature films”.
