On July 18, Tzuyang held a livestream to clarify misinformation that had been spreading about her past. The YouTuber broke headlines when previously it was reported that she had been extorted by other YouTubers to keep her past secret.
During the livestream, Tzuyang personally denied ever embezzling money and ever having sex for money.

Tzuyang then clarified that the place she had worked at didn’t require any sexual contact, but did reveal that her ex-boyfriend had tried to make her work at seedier places.
The place wasn’t like a place for prostitution. Even when my former CEO forced me to work there, I didn’t have any sexual contact. I do have evidence of my ex-CEO trying to gaslight me into working at more sexual places to make more money.
