Shaniqua Tompkins, the mother of 50 Cent‘s eldest son Marquise Jackson, has made shocking claims about the rapper. In a recent Instagram Live session, she accused him of physically abusing his ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy, the mother of his second son Sire Jackson.
Tompkins started a new series called The Unspoken where she shared her thoughts. She talked about a domestic violence case in California involving 50 Cent and Joy. She said Joy reached out to her for help but she refused to testify.
“We all know the Diddy trial is going on and we all know my son’s father is not happy with it. But what Daphne is doing is indicative of her character. It’s been rumored and known for years that she has been a call girl from Vegas. That’s known. And he knew that when he beat her up in California,” Tompkins said during the live session.
She also explained why she did not support Joy in court. “I’m a mother first and I’m a woman, but during the duration of the relationship between her and 50, she gave me so much shade and she was trolling me along with him. Like she thought she was superior and she thought her and her child were superior to Marquise and I,” she added.
50 Cent and Daphne Joy’s Troubled Past
50 Cent and Daphne Joy dated from 2011 to 2012 and share a son, Sire Jackson. Their relationship has been rocky, with Joy accusing the rapper of abuse in 2024. She claimed he physically hurt her and even accused him of r*pe.
“Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of rping me and physically abusing me. You have permanently damaged the last hope I had for you as a father to preserve our family with these last and final false claims made against me,”* Joy wrote on Instagram earlier this year.
50 Cent denied the accusations and filed a defamation lawsuit against Joy. He later dropped the case. His legal team said Joy made false claims to hurt his reputation during their custody battle over their son.
Connection to Diddy’s Trial
The drama comes as Sean “Diddy” Combs faces serious legal troubles. A witness named Jane Doe testified in his s*x trafficking trial, and 50 Cent suggested on social media that Jane Doe could be Daphne Joy. He posted a photo comparing Joy to a courtroom sketch but later deleted it.
Tompkins also hinted at the real reason behind 50 Cent’s long feud with Diddy. “It’s not what y’all think it is. It’s a whole story behind it and it’s not over Lady Boy [allegedly Daphne Joy], it’s not. Just put it this way, Puffy wasn’t the first one to sleep with someone’s baby mother,” she said.

Tompkins’ son Marquise Jackson has also had public issues with his father. On Father’s Day, Marquise posted a sarcastic message about 50 Cent not spending time with him.
“Oh it’s Father’s Day. Happy Father’s Day to all the real ones! I’m watching my bet and it ain’t looking too good. I got the over… We all know this the day for photo ops,” Marquise wrote alongside a fake betting slip.
50 Cent responded harshly, calling his son names in a now-edited Instagram post. “Happy Fathers Day Little Bih, I’ll have full custody soon little bih, you’ll be back on only fans in no time Little Bih,” he wrote before changing it to a milder message.

“Because he was abusive. He still is abusive. Emotionally, physically, he is abusive. And the last straw for me was he hit me in front of my daughter,” she said. She shared another incident where 50 Cent allegedly beat her after their son told her about his cheating.
“He beat the mess out of me and then told Marquise, ‘See, it’s your fault I had to whoop your mother’s a.’ So, those were the two incidents, for me, that I said, ‘No, it’s time to go,’” Tompkins revealed.
Neither 50 Cent nor Daphne Joy has publicly responded to Tompkins’ latest claims. However, the rapper has a history of clashing with his exes online. With Diddy’s trial still ongoing, more details could come out.
