The next episode of 9-1-1: Nashville is scheduled to arrive, moving the season’s major storylines forward. Episode 8, called “All Hands,” will air this week, continuing the intense action and family drama that defines the series.
“All Hands” will premiere on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 9:00 PM Eastern Time on the ABC network. For viewers who prefer streaming, the episode will be available on Hulu the next day. In Canada, the show airs on CTV and streams on Disney+ (via Hulu) or Crave.
What to Expect in 9-1-1: Nashville Episode 8
The official plot details for “All Hands” are still under wraps. However, the episode will directly follow the high-stakes events of the midseason premiere, “You’ve Been Boarded,” which aired on January 8, 2026.
That episode placed Nashville under a severe cyber attack. A mysterious villain hacked into medical devices like insulin and pain pumps, using them to overdose citizens and hold the city for ransom. At the same time, Captain Don Hart was in a desperate search for his wife, Blythe, after she was seriously injured in a riding accident.
Showrunner Rashad Raisani previously teased the gravity of Blythe’s situation, stating, “I wanted to show the audience what Blythe is made of, so that’s where her story is going to come from”.
Episode 8, “All Hands,” will likely deal with the aftermath of this city-wide crisis and continue exploring the complicated relationships within the Hart family.
The Main Cast and Characters of 9-1-1: Nashville
The series features an ensemble cast led by veteran actor Chris O’Donnell. He plays Captain Donald “Don” Hart, the leader of Station 113 who balances his firefighting duties with a complex family life involving his wife, son, and a secret child from a past relationship.
Jessica Capshaw stars as Blythe Hart, Don’s wife who comes from a wealthy background. Her character faced a major life-threatening emergency in the previous episode. Kimberly Williams-Paisley plays Cammie Raleigh, a 911 dispatcher and Blythe’s sister-in-law, who was at the center of the recent cyber attack crisis.
Country music star LeAnn Rimes plays Dixie Bennings, Don’s ex-girlfriend and the mother of his son, Blue. Her character has been scheming to secure money from the Hart family. The younger generation of first responders includes Michael Provost as Ryan Hart, Don and Blythe’s firefighter son; Juani Feliz as adrenaline-seeking firefighter Roxie Alba; and Hailey Kilgore as firefighter and singer Taylor Thompson.
A central character is Blue Bennings, played by Hunter McVey. Blue is Don and Dixie’s son, who entered the world of firefighting as a cadet at Station 113. His journey to connect with his father and find his place has been a key storyline.

The Place of Nashville in the 9-1-1 Franchise
9-1-1: Nashville is the second spin-off in the successful 9-1-1 franchise, which began with the original Los Angeles-based series and continued with 9-1-1: Lone Star. It was created by Ryan Murphy, Tim Minear, and Rashad Raisani.
The series premiered on October 9, 2025. While it follows the franchise’s formula of dramatic emergency rescues mixed with personal stories, it adds a distinct “country flair” by setting the action in Tennessee’s music capital. The show has generated discussion, with some fans enjoying the new setting and characters, while others have compared it to the earlier series in the franchise.
A major event for fans is planned for later in the season: a crossover with the original 9-1-1 cast. Photos have shown actors Oliver Stark (Buck) and Ryan Guzman (Eddie) from the Los Angeles 118 station alongside the Nashville team. An exact date for this crossover episode has not been announced yet.
