The latest episode of Tracker brought back a fan-favorite character just in time for the action to heat up in Philadelphia. Justin Hartley’s Colter Shaw found himself working alongside Sofia Pernas’ Billie Matalon once again in Season 3 Episode 20, titled “Reclamation.” The episode, which aired on CBS on May 10, 2026, delivered a high-stakes missing person case that quickly turned into something much darker.
The hour began with Colter in Delaware when his hacker ally Randy (Chris Lee) called about a potential case. An elderly woman named Leanne needed help finding her granddaughter Amelia, a 21-year-old who had disappeared from a rehab facility in Philadelphia. The reward was set at $12,000, and Colter agreed to take the job.
Colter’s Search for Amelia Turns Into a Murder Investigation
When Colter arrived in Philly, Leanne explained that Amelia was a funny and kind young woman who had struggled with dr*gs after her mother died a few years ago. She had voluntarily entered rehab just a week before she vanished. The police showed little interest in helping, leaving Leanne desperate for answers.
Colter went to the rehab facility and discovered something strange. The staff only had good things to say about Amelia, who seemed determined to beat her addiction. But she had escaped through a bathroom window, leaving her phone hidden in a vent. That discovery showed she had planned to come back, not run away for good.
A quick look at Amelia’s phone revealed she planned to meet up with a high school friend named Jessy. Colter tracked down Jessy’s house and walked into a crime scene. He found Jessy’s roommate Rudy tied to a chair, dead, with a severed ear nearby. Bloody footprints indicated that Amelia and Jessy had likely witnessed the murder and were now running for their lives.
Colter called Randy and asked him to track Rudy’s missing car. The vehicle had been ticketed that morning at an aquarium store in the city.

Billie Matalon Returns and Their Cases Collide
When Colter arrived at the aquarium store, he discovered a broken tank, blood on the floor, and a tied-up owner in the back room. But he was not alone. Billie Matalon was already there, and she nearly took Colter down before recognizing him.
“I was hired by a client to find out who sent him threatening texts. The laptop with the messages led me here.” – Billie Matalon to Colter Shaw
Billie had been working her own case involving blackmail threats. The two rewardists realized they might be chasing the same criminal. They questioned the store owner, who admitted that Amelia, Jessy, and Rudy regularly brought stolen items to sell. The previous night, the women showed up with expensive suits, watches, and a laptop. When the owner checked the laptop, he found blackmail messages and photos and refused to buy it.
Colter quickly understood the situation. The women did not know what was on the laptop. When they found out, they called Rudy for help. But the killer got to Rudy first and was now hunting Amelia and Jessy to cover his tracks.

The Race to Save Amelia Before It Is Too Late
Colter and Billie tracked Rudy’s car to a rundown building, but they arrived too late. Security footage showed two men forcing Amelia and Jessy into a vehicle. Randy ran the license plate and identified the owner as Nestor Sevino, a former private investigator who had turned to blackmailing high-profile people.
The pair went to Nestor’s house, taking out multiple guards along the way. Inside, they found Jessy, who told them Nestor had taken Amelia to the East Philly Rec Center. That was where the women had hidden the laptop.
At the rec center, Nestor forced Amelia to open a locker where the laptop was stored. Colter found a dead front desk clerk at his computer. As Nestor prepared to kill Amelia, Billie created a distraction by setting off an alarm. Amelia escaped Nestor’s grip, but he recovered quickly and aimed his weapon at her.
Colter fired first and killed Nestor, saving Amelia’s life. Leanne arrived at the scene and had an emotional reunion with her granddaughter. Amelia promised to tell the police everything, and Leanne gave Colter the reward money.

The Episode Ends With Burgers, Wine, and Trust Between Partners
After the case was closed, Billie showed up at Colter’s trailer with wine and burgers. She had taken the laptop from the scene, and Colter asked what she planned to do with it.
“You will just have to trust me.” – Billie Matalon to Colter Shaw
The moment showed how much their relationship had grown since Billie’s first appearance in Season 1. What started as a rivalry had turned into a genuine partnership built on mutual respect.
Meanwhile, Reenie (Fiona Rene) and Maxine (Kathleen Robertson) reached a major settlement in their wrongful death lawsuit, wrapping up that storyline before the season finale.
