The second episode of Silo Season 3, titled “It’s All Good,” dropped on Apple TV+ on July 10, 2026. This episode slows down the action from the premiere but delivers some of the biggest revelations in the series so far. Rather than focusing on physical battles, Episode 2 dives deep into manipulation, memory control, and the terrifying lengths those in power will take to keep the truth hidden.
Rebecca Ferguson returns as Juliette Nichols, the engineer who survived the outside world only to return to Silo 18 as mayor with her memories severely damaged. The episode runs on two timelines: one following Juliette in the present day and another set in the “before times,” more than 350 years earlier, showing how the memory-altering technology first came to be.
Juliette Starts Questioning the Pills She Has Been Taking
One of the biggest moments in Episode 2 is Juliette finally starting to fight back. She is still suffering from major memory loss, but clues from the underground resistance and her own growing suspicion about the daily “vitamins” she has been given begin to push her toward the truth.
Juliette meets with Patrick Kennedy and the rebels, who confirm that someone has been deliberately suppressing her memories. This forces her to question everything she has been told since her return to Silo 18. Even without her full memory, the determination and curiosity that define her character continue to shine through.
In one key scene, Juliette visits Martha Walker in Mechanical. Martha denies sending a recent note but affirms Juliette’s old stubborn and gut-driven nature. She hands Juliette an old Swiss Army knife, a physical object from the past, and advises her to follow her instincts rather than forced recollection. This moment reignites something primal in Juliette.
Later, Juliette meets with Knox, who offers guarded reassurance about their past friendship. He mentions Lukas Kyle and his disappearance into the digger void while searching for answers during the rebellion. Juliette makes a mental note not to forget him.
The Memory Protocol and the Algorithm’s Terrifying Plan
The episode introduces the Memory Protocol, one of the most unsettling concepts the show has ever presented. The Algorithm, the mysterious voice that gives orders to Camille Sims, reveals that memory itself is treated as the root cause of every rebellion the silo has ever seen.
The Algorithm tells Camille that six population resets have already taken place across different silos, including one in Silo 18 about 140 years ago. These resets likely involved drugging the water supply and erasing shared memories across the entire population.
The Algorithm shows Camille a graph with two lines. The blue line represents the calming effect of having Juliette as mayor. The red line represents the risk she poses if the memory protocol is not successful. The Algorithm warns:
“If those lines cross, Juliette Nichols will have outlived her usefulness. The problem, of course, is that a sudden removal of Juliette could be catastrophically destabilising. We can only hope that the introduction of the vitamin compound into the water supply happens before that becomes necessary.”
This confirms that the “vitamins” Juliette has been taking are actually memory-suppressing drugs. The episode ends with barrels labeled “Vitamin D+” being rolled up the silo’s central staircase, suggesting the Algorithm plans to put the memory-wiping medication into the entire water supply of Silo 18.
The Before Times Storyline Reveals the Origin of Memory Drugs
The parallel timeline follows Daniel Keene, a young congressman, as he learns the shocking truth about his sister Charlotte’s condition. Charlotte is not suffering from a simple brain injury. Instead, she has undergone experimental memory suppression.
Dr. Victor Crnkovich, a specialist, explains that memories can be selectively removed and even restored. His methods were reportedly tested on prisoners before being used to treat traumatised military personnel. However, Charlotte’s condition suggests the treatment has become a tool for controlling what people know.
This revelation creates one of the episode’s most important connections. The technology being used on Juliette hundreds of years later originated long before the silos were ever sealed. The show is showing that the methods used inside the silo began long before the apocalypse.
Jessica Henwick continues to impress as reporter Helen Drew, whose investigation is beginning to expose just how deep the conspiracy really goes. Helen’s work raises the possibility that the dirty bomb attack blamed on Iran may have been staged to justify a larger military response.
Camille Sims Becomes an Even More Dangerous Antagonist
If there was any doubt that Camille has become one of the series’ most dangerous antagonists, this episode erases it completely. Under orders from the Algorithm, Camille is not simply controlling Juliette. She is preparing to expand the memory-suppression program to the entire silo through the water supply.
This transforms what initially appeared to be targeted manipulation into something far more sinister. Camille complains to the Algorithm about how long it is taking Juliette to forget what happened to her, showing her impatience and coldness.
Meanwhile, Sheriff Billings quietly emerges as another key player. Torn between enforcing the Pact and protecting his family, he appears closer than ever to choosing a side. Deputy Jerry also starts bending rules in Juliette’s favor, a small rebellion that already feels like it will cost him.
Juliette Makes a Dangerous Decision
The episode ends with Juliette making one of her most important decisions yet. Instead of taking the pills designed to keep her compliant, she secretly disposes of them, hoping her memories will eventually return.
Unfortunately, the nurse discovers the discarded medication almost immediately. This puts Juliette’s deception and her life in serious jeopardy. At the same time, Daniel realises the conspiracy surrounding Charlotte extends far beyond her accident, while Helen’s investigation edges dangerously close to exposing the people orchestrating the cover-up.
By the end of “It’s All Good,” the show’s two timelines feel more connected than ever. Both stories point toward the same disturbing truth: history has been rewritten, memories have been weaponized, and an entire civilization has been built on manufactured reality.

The episode makes it clear that memory is the ultimate currency of power in the world of Silo. Those who control what people remember control everything else. Juliette now faces an impossible challenge: she must recover her own memories while also stopping the Algorithm from erasing the memories of everyone else in the silo.
