KBS 2TV’s weekend romance drama “A Love Other Than Yours” is heading into its fifth episode with major emotional shifts for both couples at the center of the story. Seo Kang Jun and Jo Aram‘s characters are set to share time away from the office, while Ahn Eun Jin and Lee Joo Ahn‘s dynamic takes a tense new direction. The episode will also air 20 minutes later than usual this Saturday due to sports coverage.
Seo Kang Jun and Jo Aram’s Characters Meet at a Sauna
Newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming fifth episode show Namgoong Ho (Seo Kang Jun) and Park Soo Ah (Jo Aram) meeting at a sauna outside of work. The setting marks a clear departure from their usual office interactions at Hoonmin Confectionery.
The images also reveal a visible cut on Namgoong Ho‘s face, leaving viewers wondering what happened to him before the sauna scene.
The drama previously established that Namgoong Ho and Park Soo Ah share a past connection. They first met 10 years ago when Namgoong Ho traveled to the remote island of Haemado after being rejected by his longtime crush, Lee Mi Do (Ahn Eun Jin). A small act of kindness from him left a lasting impression on Park Soo Ah, who later joined his company as a junior colleague.
The production team explained what is coming next for this pair.
“Starting from Episode 5, there will be a series of events that makes Namgoong Ho and Park Soo Ah growing closer inevitable. This leads Park Soo Ah’s deep-rooted memory of [Namgoong Ho’s] comfort from 10 years ago to develop into a new emotion.”
The team also noted that unresolved issues remain between Namgoong Ho and Lee Mi Do, despite their engagement.
“Although [Namgoong Ho] has gotten engaged to Lee Mi Do, there are still unresolved issues within their relationship. Please keep an eye on what sort of new role Park Soo Ah will wind up playing in Namgoong Ho’s life amidst that situation.”
Jo Aram previously spoke about her on-screen chemistry with Seo Kang Jun in an exclusive interview with Mashable ME. She said he always created a comfortable atmosphere on set and that they discussed their characters’ feelings before filming each scene.
Ahn Eun Jin and Lee Joo Ahn’s Relationship Takes a Tense Turn
Lee Mi Do (Ahn Eun Jin) is caught in an emotional tug-of-war. She got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Namgoong Ho, but she has struggled to find excitement in both her relationship and her career. Han Tae Seung (Lee Joo Ahn) entered her life as a sharp-tongued lawyer who sees through her with unsettling accuracy.
At the end of the latest episode, Lee Mi Do spent the night of the first snow with Han Tae Seung when she should have been celebrating with Namgoong Ho.
New stills from the next episode capture a tense encounter between Lee Mi Do and Han Tae Seung at her home.
The drama’s production team shared what viewers can expect from this storyline.
“Han Tae Seung, who keenly saw through Lee Mi Do’s inner feelings, will become even more forceful in causing her heart to waver in this week’s episodes. Please keep an eye on how their relationship changes as a result of their encounters after Lee Mi Do stays out all night during the first snow, along with how they will impact her romantic storyline with her longtime boyfriend Namgoong Ho, whom she is set to marry.”
Lee Joo Ahn described his character Han Tae Seung as a cool-headed and forthright man who harbors a deep desire to be loved. He also shared his experience working with Ahn Eun Jin.
“At one point, her lines stopped sounding like scripted dialogue and felt like genuine words coming from Ahn Eun Jin. I decided to simply trust her and let myself act comfortably.”
Episode 5 Airs 20 Minutes Later This Saturday
KBS announced on October 2 that the upcoming episode of “A Love Other Than Yours”, originally set for Saturday, October 3 at 9:20 p.m. KST, will now air at 9:40 p.m. KST. The 20-minute delay is due to the broadcast of the men’s soccer final at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.
The same soccer coverage also affects “Love on the Menu”, which will not air on October 3. Episode 19 of that drama will instead air on Sunday, October 4 at 8 p.m. KST.
This is not the first schedule change for the drama. KBS previously postponed episodes 5 and 6 — originally planned for September 26 and 27 — because the broadcaster was covering the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. The channel aired special broadcasts of episodes 1 through 4 during that break.
Episode 6 is expected to air on Sunday, October 4.
