The third season of Silo is moving through its weekly run on Apple TV+, and the sixth episode is set to arrive soon. The dystopian sci-fi series continues to deliver tense storytelling across two timelines, and Episode 6, titled “The Drive,” is the next chapter in this expanding saga.
Season 3 consists of 10 episodes, releasing one new episode every Friday. The season premiered on July 3, 2026, and will run through September 4, 2026. Episode 6 is scheduled to arrive on Friday, August 7, 2026.

Episode 5 Recap: “Memory”
The previous episode, “Memory,” aired on July 31, 2026. It delivered major answers to questions that had been building throughout the season, finally restoring Juliette’s lost memories and revealing the truth about Bernard’s survival.
The episode opened with a flashback to the immediate aftermath of the season 2 finale. Knox, Shirley, and others forced open the heavy doors after the airlock fire, rescuing both Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson) and Bernard Holland (Tim Robbins) from the flames. Both were badly burned but alive. The entire silo watched as the two were carried down through the levels, with residents gathering on stairs and landings, some even singing.
Robert Sims (Common) emerged as the key figure in this episode. Camille Sims emerged from the Vault changed after meeting the Algorithm, receiving orders to eliminate three threats: Juliette, Bernard, and Lukas Kyle. She instructed her husband Robert to handle it. Sims went to the medical bay where Bernard lay and began the process of wrapping him in plastic, as contaminated bodies are prepared for the incinerator. But Sims stopped the conveyor belt short of the flames. With help from Martha Walker and Carla McLain, he got Bernard hidden in the sealed Digger Void, a dark space far below Mechanical that had been closed for years. To Camille and the rest of the silo, Bernard had died in the fire and was cremated.
Sims did not stop at hiding Bernard. He planted the idea, carefully and through intermediaries, that Juliette should become mayor. A mayor is harder to remove, and public sentiment would make it messy. He also arranged for Juliette’s memory-suppressing drugs to be stopped.
With Bernard hidden and Juliette’s memory still lost, Sims brought together a team of allies to help restore her memories. He employed Regina to start collecting relics for Juliette that might trigger her memories. Martha, Kennedy, Lukas, and Regina were all present when Sims took Juliette to Walker’s to study the relics. When each artifact failed, Sims suspected George’s watch might do the trick, as it was an important artifact given to Juliette by Hank’s late father. But all their efforts were in vain.
As Sims and Juliette were returning to Camille, Sims handed Juliette George’s PEZ dispenser. The unlikely relic triggered Juliette’s memory, and she remembered everything about her conversation with Solo and the Safeguard Protocol. She also remembered that the poison pipe is located at Level 14, the headquarters of the Judicial Department, prompting her to return to the Deep Down to warn the others.
Meanwhile, in the Before Times storyline, Daniel told Helen that Sam had given him crucial information about Per Stensen, a billionaire and militant AI advocate who was likely involved in the Iran mission. As Daniel and Helen were headed to meet with a source who had information about Per, their car was hijacked and began driving itself.
What to Expect from Episode 6: “The Drive”
Episode 6, titled “The Drive,” is directed by Alrick Riley. The episode is expected to follow Juliette as she acts on her recovered memories, now knowing the location of the poison pipe at Level 14. With her memories restored, Juliette is positioned to take direct action against the Safeguard Protocol that threatens Silo 18.
The season has been praised as an “awesome narrative two-hander,” shifting between Juliette’s present-day struggles and the Before Times storyline that reveals the origins of the silos. The show’s third season adapts the second book in Hugh Howey’s series, Shift. The showrunner Graham Yost confirmed this decision, noting that while Juliette doesn’t appear until the last page of the book, the show has found ways to keep her central to the story.
