The upcoming KBS2 drama “A Love Other Than Yours” has given viewers a first look at the leading pair Seo Kang Jun and Ahn Eun Jin through newly released photos and a video clip from the script reading session. The realistic romance drama tells the story of a couple who have been dating for ten years and face unexpected emotional changes in a relationship that once felt comfortable and secure.

The production team shared glimpses of the two actors bringing their characters to life, showing the natural comfort that comes with a decade-long relationship. The stills capture the pair enjoying a date at a restaurant, with their natural gaze toward each other reflecting the ease of a long-term bond while also hinting at subtle emotional tension that suggests changes ahead.

What “A Love Other Than Yours” Is About

“A Love Other Than Yours” follows Namgung Ho (Seo Kang Jun) and Lee Mi Do (Ahn Eun Jin), a couple who have been together for ten years. As passion fades and loyalty and trust take its place, they find themselves torn between breaking up and getting married, ultimately reexamining what love truly means.

Namgung Ho works as an assistant manager at Hunmin Confectionery Snack TF Team 3. He is described as sociable, humorous, and warm, and has spent the past ten years imagining a future with his girlfriend. However, he begins to notice changes in her expression and is forced to face the evolving nature of their relationship.

Lee Mi Do is a film director who always saw marriage to Namgung Ho as a guaranteed part of her future, even during the hardest times. But when unexpected emotions start to appear in her everyday life, she finds herself confused and uncertain.

The series explores whether choosing each other after ten years is an act of love, habit, or survival. It looks at the fragile line between comfort and passion within a long-term relationship.

The Script Reading Preview

The script reading brought together the main cast, and the production team noted how naturally Seo Kang Jun and Ahn Eun Jin brought to life the familiarity and comfort unique to a couple who have known each other for ten years. They portrayed characters who know each other better than their own parents and have shared even their lowest moments together.

Seo Kang Jun shows both the warm side of Namgung Ho, who has lived looking only at his girlfriend for ten years, and his inner struggle as he slowly wavers between love and trust. Ahn Eun Jin plays Lee Mi Do with depth, showing the emotions of a character who begins to waver before the walls of reality.

The Supporting Cast

The drama also features a strong supporting cast that adds tension to the main couple’s relationship.

Lee Joo Ahn plays Han Tae Seung, a lawyer for a film production company who informs Lee Mi Do of her dismissal. He creates tension by showing a subtle emotional shift, as he becomes increasingly interested in her while coldly pressuring her. His character is an ambitious attorney at Jaekang Law Firm who, as an orphan with only his intelligence to rely on, dedicated his life to serving the firm’s managing partner. But when he meets Lee Mi Do, she constantly catches him off guard and sparks feelings he tries to ignore.

Jo Aram takes on the role of Park Soo Ah, a junior colleague at Hunmin Confectionery who suddenly appears before Namgung Ho. She brings to life a character with unexpected charm and a warm interior hidden behind a cold first impression. Often called “cold” and “prickly,” she expresses her emotions with efficiency and keeps people at a distance.

Kim Mi Kyung also joins the cast as Lee Mi Do’s mother Ma Sook.

The production team expressed confidence that Lee Joo Ahn and Jo Aram would bring persuasiveness and realism to the emotions that everyone experiences at least once in life. They noted that a key point to watch will be the turbulent emotions and relationships that unfold when someone new enters the daily life that once had only “the one”.
