The ninth episode of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You Season 3 delivered a wild mix of survival comedy and romantic introduction. The episode, which aired on August 30, 2026, took the Rentarou family to a hot spring resort that turned into a disaster zone. But the real highlight came in the second half when a new soulmate entered the picture.
A Free Trip That Became a Survival Mission
The episode started with Rentarou Aijo announcing that his family won a lottery prize organized by Hardcore Company. The prize was a free day at their new hot spring resort. Everyone got excited about the trip. Karane Inda acted excited on the outside, but she felt nervous inside. She hid her true feelings well.
The family arrived at the resort wearing swimsuits and enjoying a family bath. But things went wrong very quickly. The Hardcore Body Soap created too much foam. The foam became uncontrollable and washed the group away from each other.
Soap and Water Turned Into a Disaster
The foam caused a shower-like situation with water shooting at dangerous levels. Rentarou managed to turn off the shower, but another foam attack separated them again.
Kusuri Yakuzen got swept into a harsh stream. Iku Sutou jumped in to save her. Suu faced a similar problem when a waterfall trapped her. Nano Eiai scaled the waterfall despite her fear of heights to rescue her. They almost drowned because of their combined weight. These moments showed how much the girlfriends care for each other.
Mimizu and Kakure found themselves in a tight spot. Kakure found a way out that included kissing. Mei ended up in a freezing bath. Hahari stayed with her and said protecting Mei was her duty as her master.
Karane’s Wish and a Strange Effect
Karane found a section of the hot spring that gave her strange effects. Hakari noticed the change and was surprised. Karane told Hakari she would rather stay under the effects forever than return to normal. This made Hakari go into the water to talk to Karane and break her out of it. By the end of this scene, Karane left to search for others.
The characters finally reunited later in the episode. But three girlfriends and Rentarou were still missing. Rentarou came back and revealed he already saved all three girls. He did not explain how he did it.
The 17th Girlfriend Makes Her Debut
The second half of the episode introduced a new character. Kikka Dorodoro (also known as Kikka Dorotoro or Kishika) appeared as the 17th soulmate. She is a third-year high school student who serves as the captain of the women’s kendo club.
Kikka first appeared when Rentarou got bothered by a group of delinquents in the city. She showed up bravely and helped him. Her personality is like a female knight from a story. She is proud, trains every day, and is respected by her club members.
But here is the twist. Kikka is the oldest sister of six siblings. She has taken care of her younger brothers and sisters for a long time. She acts responsible and strong. But her official profile reveals she is actually a big baby who loves to be pampered. When someone pats her head, she turns into a soft, baby-like mess.
This gap between her strong knight image and her true soft side created a funny and memorable introduction. The anime showed this contrast clearly in the episode.
