The K-pop group ENHYPEN just scored a major win in Japan with their newest mini album ‘THE SIN : BLISS’. The album took the number one spot on Billboard Japan’s Top Album Sales chart. But that is not all. They also swept three weekly rankings on Oricon at the same time. This shows just how strong the group’s popularity remains in the Japanese music market.
The group’s label, BELIFT LAB, confirmed the news on September 3, 2026. The achievement comes just days after the album dropped on August 21, 2026. Fans are celebrating another big moment for the six-member group.
ENHYPEN Takes Over Oricon with a Triple Crown
The numbers speak for themselves. ‘THE SIN : BLISS’ scored 193,282 points on Oricon’s Weekly Combined Album Ranking for the week of September 7. This chart combines CD sales, digital downloads, and streaming numbers into one total score.
This victory gives ENHYPEN their 11th number one album on this particular Oricon chart. According to Oricon, that places the group in third place all-time for the most number one albums on this chart. Only SEVENTEEN and TOMORROW X TOGETHER have more, with 14 each.
The group did not stop there. ‘THE SIN : BLISS’ also topped the Weekly Album Ranking and the Weekly Overseas Album Ranking during the same period. This gives ENHYPEN a triple crown on Oricon’s weekly charts. The album also placed inside the top ten on the Weekly Digital Album Ranking.
Billboard Japan Confirms the Group’s Chart Dominance
ENHYPEN’s success extended to Billboard Japan as well. ‘THE SIN : BLISS’ claimed the number one spot on the latest Top Album Sales chart. This chart tracks pure album sales in Japan for the week of August 24–30.
The title track “Bloody Paradise” also made waves. The song reached 10th place on Billboard Japan’s Hot Shot Songs chart. It also entered the Japan Hot 100, showing that the album’s lead single is connecting with listeners beyond just album buyers.
A Historic Week for ENHYPEN in the United States
The group’s big week did not start in Japan. On September 1, ENHYPEN made history in the United States. ‘THE SIN : BLISS’ debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. This marks the group’s first-ever number one on the main US album chart since their debut in 2020.
The album earned 98,000 equivalent album units in the US during its first week. That includes 92,000 in traditional album sales and 6,000 from streaming.
This achievement follows a steady climb on the Billboard 200. The group previously reached number two with both ‘ROMANCE : UNTOLD’ and ‘THE SIN : VANISH’. Now they have finally reached the top.
First Week Sales Show ENHYPEN’s Global Power
‘THE SIN : BLISS’ sold approximately 190,000 copies in Japan during its first week. This helped the album achieve strong first-week numbers overall.
Globally, the album sold 2.09 million copies in its first week. According to Hanteo Chart, the album recorded 2,099,048 copies sold from August 21 to 27. This makes it ENHYPEN’s fifth album to sell more than two million copies.
The group achieved this milestone as a six-member ensemble. The lineup now includes JUNGWON, JAY, JAKE, SUNGHOON, SUNOO, and NI-KI.
What ‘THE SIN : BLISS’ Brings to the Table
‘THE SIN : BLISS’ is ENHYPEN’s eighth mini album. It continues the group’s ‘THE SIN’ series, which explores themes of forbidden love and escape. The album mixes the group’s signature dark fantasy concept with fresher sounds.
The tracklist includes songs like “Two Fools,” “Breaking News,” “Stuck,” “Bad For You,” and the title track “Bloody Paradise”. The album also has Korean, Japanese, and English versions of some tracks.
Music critics have praised the album for its polished production. One review called it a “cohesive mini album” with standout tracks. Another noted that the group shows more vocal strength than in past releases.
