Rakuten Viki is celebrating its fourth annual K-Drama Day with a week-long event that gives fans free access to ten popular Korean series, a chance to see their favorite drama on billboards worldwide, and exclusive content from stars like Park Ji Hoon, Lee Hye Ri, and Bae In Hyuk.
The celebration runs from September 25 through October 1, 2026, and the free shows are available with subtitles in select regions. Availability may differ by country, so viewers in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, India, and other markets should check the Viki platform for their local lineup.
Which 10 K-Dramas Are Free on Viki for K-Drama Day 2026?
Viki has confirmed the full list of free titles for this year’s event. The lineup includes a mix of recent hits and fan favorites:

Fans Voted to Put Their Favorite K-Drama on Global Billboards
One of the biggest additions to this year’s celebration was the fan vote. From September 14 to 21, 2026, viewers across Southeast Asia and other select regions could cast a vote for the K-drama they wanted to see take the spotlight.
The winning series was revealed on September 25, and digital billboards featuring that drama went live shortly after in key cities across the U.S. and select international markets. This gave fans a direct role in shaping how K-Drama Day was celebrated around the world.
Signed Polaroids and Exclusive Star Content
Viki also ran a contest giving five lucky fans a set of five signed polaroids from K-drama stars. To enter, fans needed a registered Viki account, had to vote for their favorite recent K-drama, and share what K-dramas mean to them. The contest window was September 14 to 21, 2026.
Beyond the giveaways, Viki prepared a slate of exclusive content featuring some of the biggest names in K-drama:
- Park Ji Hoon, Lee Hye Ri, Hwang In Youp, Choi Soo Young, Kang Tae Oh, Kim Se Jeong, and Kong Hyo Jin recorded video shoutouts for fans.
- Bae In Hyuk, star of Our Universe, sat down for an exclusive interview.
- The cast of Dive into You — Kim Ji Yeon, Park Seo Ham, Jang Se Hyuk, and Moon Seung You — appeared in a snack truck video, along with an interview with director So Jaehyun.
- Yoon Jong Ho, director of A Bona Fide Killer, also recorded an interview.

How K-Drama Day Has Grown Since 2023
Viki launched the first International K-Drama Day on November 29, 2023, choosing that date because Viki itself was established on November 29. The second annual celebration followed on November 29, 2024, with a buildup starting on November 18.
The third edition in 2025 marked a shift. Viki moved the event earlier in the calendar, running it from September 26 to 30. That year also saw Viki’s first advertising campaign for K-Drama Day, starring Will Poulter and Victoria Justice.
By the time of the 2025 campaign, Viki had reached 100 million registered users, a milestone that highlighted how much the K-drama audience has grown worldwide.
