Salman Khan has taken a firm stand against contestant Rhiti Tiwari on Bigg Boss 20, calling her remarks against Uditi Singh during a diss battle the “worst diss ever.” The host did not hold back as he questioned Rhiti’s language, her team’s silence, and the nepotism debate surrounding her entry into the house.

What Happened During the Diss Battle
The controversy began during a captaincy task that turned into a rap-style diss battle between Team Qazi and Team Yung DSA. Rhiti Tiwari was paired against Uditi Singh, but Uditi chose not to participate. Qazi Touqeer stepped in to take her place.
Rhiti’s remarks quickly went past the usual roast format. She used abusive and sexually suggestive language directed at both Uditi and Qazi. Several of her comments were muted during the telecast. Qazi became furious, throwing his jacket on the floor and banging objects. Other housemates had to hold him back.
Uditi later responded with personal attacks of her own. She called Rhiti an “ugly fatso,” a “drug addict,” and “buri shakal waali” (bad-faced). While speaking to Aman Gandhi, Uditi said her beauty came from her parents and claimed that both Rhiti’s heart and face were “kaala.”
Rhiti showed no regret for her words. In a conversation with Mahhi Vij, she said she was proud of her remarks and believed her father, Manoj Tiwari, would be proud too. She also warned Qazi, saying, “Agar mere baap aapko yeh sab karte hue dekh lete toh aapko malum nahi hai aapka kya halat hota.”
Salman Khan’s Strong Words for Rhiti
Salman Khan addressed the incident directly in the Weekend Ka Vaar promo. His first words to Rhiti were clear and sharp.
“Rhiti, it was the worst diss ever. You have to show respect within limits. Your language is going somewhere else.”
Salman questioned how Rhiti could be proud of what she said. He described her remarks as “uncalled for” and asked her to explain her behaviour. Rhiti responded that she did not mean to say those things and that it was part of the task.
Salman also turned his attention to Rhiti’s teammates, including Scout OP, Love Gill, Aamrapali Dubey, Aasif Khan, and Young DSA. He asked why they laughed instead of stopping the disrespect.
“And everyone was laughing. Where is your sense? You were making fun of her, and she was making fun of you. Was it not your duty to stop it right there? If this diss would have been on your sister, would you have let this diss happen?”
He specifically questioned Aasif Khan, saying, “Kahan gayi Aasif aapki akal, agar yeh diss aapki behan par hota toh kya aap kar dete iss tarah ka diss?”
Salman Questions the Nepotism Angle
Salman also brought up the debate around Rhiti being a star kid. He told her that she entered the show with a dream of becoming a rockstar, but her language could affect both her and her father.
“Nobody knew you till the time you came into Bigg Boss. Isn’t that true? You are Manoj Tiwari’s daughter, so people will say that’s your claim to fame, and you came into the house because of him. Nepotism, correct?”
He also addressed trolls who claimed he would go easy on Rhiti because of her father. Salman said, “People have also said that as she is a nepo-kid, Salman will not scream at her. There are two ways to handle this.” He then gave Rhiti a choice: “bhai bajao” or “samjhao.”
Rhiti was seen getting emotional and crying towards the end of the promo.
Qazi Touqeer Gets Support from Salman
Salman praised Qazi Touqeer for standing up for Uditi during the confrontation. Qazi was the only contestant who openly stepped in when Rhiti’s remarks crossed the line. He addressed the camera directly at one point and asked Manoj Tiwari to take note of his daughter’s behaviour.
“Apni daughter ko dekho, not done.”
Salman acknowledged Qazi’s action and told him he did the right thing by speaking up for Uditi. At the same time, he criticised the other housemates for staying silent while the situation escalated.
Manoj Tiwari to Appear on Weekend Ka Vaar
