Paulina Throws a Surprise Shower for Chanel

The baby shower is not the only source of drama for Chanel this week.
Johnny DiMera reaches out to his father, EJ DiMera, about the wrongful death lawsuit filed against Sarah Horton. Johnny wants to know if EJ is behind it. The conversation happens over the phone, but Chanel is close enough to overhear.
Chanel catches enough of the call to realize Johnny has been keeping secrets about DiMera business for longer than he admitted. This is a serious problem for their marriage.
Johnny previously promised Chanel he would stop letting EJ influence him. He told her he wanted to move back to Italy with their family. But the lawsuit involves DiMera Enterprises, which means it could affect their finances.

Marlena Demands the Truth About Dominic Marino
Marlena Evans is dealing with a shocking discovery of her own.
Steve Johnson recently showed Marlena a birth certificate for Dominic Marino. The document lists Marlena as the mother and Stefano DiMera as the father.

In reality, the lawsuit is a cover-up for EJ, George, and DiMera Pharmaceuticals. Someone also tampered with the medical records to frame Sarah.
Xander Kiriakis learns about the lawsuit from Sarah and immediately vows to prove she was set up. He tracks down EJ and confronts him directly. The preview shows Xander making threats with a level of intensity that only he can deliver.
Xander is not interested in half measures when Sarah’s career and reputation are on the line. EJ will have to deal with a man who has nothing to lose.
