BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon, one of K-pop’s biggest names, has confirmed his first-ever appearance on Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho‘s hit talk show, You Quiz on the Block.
On October 2, 2024, South Korean media outlet SPOTV News reported that G-Dragon, the iconic rapper from BIGBANG, was scheduled to film for the variety show that afternoon. The show’s representative confirmed the news, announcing that G-Dragon participated in the recording, and the episode will air later this month.
This marks a significant moment as G-Dragon has never appeared on You Quiz on the Block before. During his guest appearance, he is expected to discuss his activities during his hiatus and more. G-Dragon is also preparing for a highly anticipated solo comeback later this year, his first in seven years.
Notably, G-Dragon has had a close friendship with host Yoo Jae Suk, having appeared on the popular show Infinite Challenge multiple times. He participated in the Infinite Challenge Song Festival in 2011, 2013, and 2015, showcasing his musical talents. He also flexed his acting skills in Muhan Company.
The show You Quiz on the Block is one of South Korea’s top-rated talk shows, airing every Wednesday at 8:45 PM KST. It features everyday people and celebrities, with Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho leading insightful and fun conversations.
Recently, G-Dragon reunited with fellow BIGBANG members Taeyang and Daesung during Taeyang’s solo concert The Light Year in Seoul. They performed several of their hits, including “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” and “GOOD BOY.”
