ENHYPEN member Jay found himself at the center of dating rumors after pictures of him walking with a woman went viral online. Fans have since clarified that the woman is not his girlfriend but his mother.
Viral Photos and Misunderstanding
On December 10, 2024, pictures of Jay alongside a woman dressed in a leather jacket and black skirt circulated widely on social media. Speculation about the woman being Jay’s girlfriend gained momentum, with netizens commenting on their apparent closeness.
However, fans quickly stepped in to debunk the rumors. They pointed out that Jay had been spotted with the same woman several times in public, including during outings near his company and at a restaurant. Fans confirmed that the woman is Jay’s mother, who often accompanies him on shopping and dining trips.
While fans successfully dismissed the dating claims, neither ENHYPEN’s agency, BELIFT LAB, nor Jay himself has addressed the matter. On the same day, rumors about Jay’s bandmate Jungwon allegedly dating aespa’s Winter also surfaced. Both BELIFT LAB and SM Entertainment promptly denied the claims but did not comment on Jay’s case.
