Legal Action Announced

On December 14, 2024, One Hundred released an official statement addressing ongoing malicious attacks against its artists. The agency expressed gratitude to fans for their continuous support and reassured them of its firm stance against any defamatory actions.

According to the statement, One Hundred has been actively filing legal complaints against individuals spreading malicious comments and false information. The company has collaborated with specialized agencies to track IP addresses and gather evidence. Following extensive police investigations, suspects involved in these activities have been forwarded to the prosecution.

Commitment to Strict Measures

The agency emphasized its no-tolerance policy against acts of defamation, stating, “We take all acts of defamation, including malicious slander, the spread of false information, and personal attacks, very seriously. We will continue to monitor related posts and comments and take legal action accordingly.”

In addition to individual offenders, the company also highlighted its focus on addressing illegal viral marketing agencies, organizations, and associations involved in such malicious activities. One Hundred declared its commitment to enforcing strict measures without engaging in settlements or leniency.

The statement underscored the agency’s role in promoting the K-pop industry’s healthy growth, adding, “To promote the growth of the K-pop industry and the entertainment sector, we will continue to take stern measures without any settlements or leniency toward those involved in malicious activities.”
