A group of Kanye West fans was filmed chanting his banned song “Heil Hitler” outside a Buffalo Wild Wings in Hollywood. The video, posted on May 23, 2025, quickly went viral with over 1.7 million views. The controversial track was removed from major platforms but remains on X (formerly Twitter).
The song, released on May 8, 2025, features lyrics praising Adolf Hitler and includes a speech sample from the Nazi leader. It was part of Westโs upcoming album “Cuck”, which has not been officially released. The music video showed Black men in animal masks chanting the songโs title.
Buffalo Wild Wings has not commented on the incident. However, the restaurant chain previously faced backlash for a racist incident in 2023, where a Black group was asked to move seats. The company fired the employees involved and banned the offending customer.
West, who now goes by Ye, has a history of antisemitic remarks. In February 2025, he called himself a “Nazi” and praised Hitler. Major brands like Adidas and Spotify have cut ties with him. His net worth dropped from billions to $400 million.
The “Heil Hitler” song was banned on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, and Reddit. However, it gained 10 million views on X. Right-wing influencer Andrew Tate shared a clip of himself listening to it, which got 3 million views.
“Heil Hitler by Ye has been banned by all digital streaming platforms. While Rednecks by Randy Newman remains streamable. Theyโre literally keeping the nias down.” โ *Ye in a now-deleted tweet*.
Fans online had mixed reactions. Some defended Westโs “free speech”, while others called the song “disgusting”. The Hollywood incident adds to Westโs long list of controversies.
West and his wife, Bianca Censori, were recently seen in Mallorca, Spain, shutting down split rumors. They visited a luxury rehab clinic, sparking speculation about his mental health. He also put his Malibu mansion up for sale.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) condemned the song. A spokesperson said, “Glorifying Nazis is not art. Itโs hate speech.” Despite backlash, West continues to push boundaries with his music and public statements.
His feud with Playboi Carti over an NBA YoungBoy collaboration also made headlines. The two argued online about who owned the rights to a song. Meanwhile, Westโs leaked album “Cuck” may never see an official release.
