The story of “The Accountant 2” follows Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck), a highly skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who has autism. He lives a hidden life, working as a forensic accountant for criminal groups. Wolff is known for his ability to solve difficult problems. His life takes a dangerous turn when an old acquaintance is murdered, leaving a note that tells the receiver to “find the accountant.”
The difficulty of this case affects Wolff. This leads him to reach out to his estranged brother, Brax (Jon Bernthal). What begins as a simple murder mystery quickly pulls both brothers, along with US Treasury Deputy Director Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), into a deadly underground network of killers. These killers are after anyone who tries to get in their way.
