Apple TV+ has revealed the full lineup for its new music competition series “KPOPPED”, bringing together legendary Western artists and top K-pop groups for a unique collaboration. The show will premiere globally on August 29, 2025, with all eight episodes available at once.
Hosted by PSY and Megan Thee Stallion, the series features teams of K-pop idols and international stars reimagining each other’s biggest hits. A live audience in Seoul will vote for the best performance in each episode.
Star-Studded Lineup: K-Pop Meets Global Icons
The show pairs some of the biggest names in music history with rising K-pop talent. Confirmed collaborations include:
- ITZY x Spice Girls (Mel B & Emma Bunton) – Reimagining hits like “Wannabe”
- ATEEZ x J Balvin & Kylie Minogue – Mixing Latin and K-pop energy
- Billlie x Megan Thee Stallion & Patti LaBelle – A fusion of rap and soul
- STAYC x TLC & Boy George – Blending ’90s R&B with modern K-pop
- BLACKSWAN x Boyz II Men – A throwback to classic harmonies
Other matchups include Kep1er with Vanilla Ice and Taylor Dayne, JO1 with Kesha and Eve, and KISS OF LIFE with Ava Max and Jess Glynne.

How the Show Works
Each episode follows a similar format:
- Western artists and K-pop groups team up to rearrange a hit song in a K-pop style.
- Limited rehearsal time adds pressure before the live performance.
- A Seoul audience votes for their favorite version.
- The winning team is announced, followed by a special performance by the K-pop group.
Notable songs being remixed include “Savage” (Megan Thee Stallion), “Waterfalls” (TLC), “Ice Ice Baby” (Vanilla Ice), and “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” (Kylie Minogue).
Behind the Scenes: Executive Producers and Filming
The series is executive produced by Lionel Richie, Megan Thee Stallion, PSY, and Miky Lee, with production handled by CJ ENM and Eureka Productions. Filming took place in late 2024 in Seoul, with artists like the Spice Girls traveling to South Korea for the project.
“We wanted to create a show where music has no borders,” said a representative from Apple TV+. “The energy between these artists is something fans have never seen before.”
