Story Developments and What to Watch For
The new episodes will continue directly from the major revelations that concluded Episode 8. After overcoming misunderstandings and interference, Song Woo-yeon and Nam Gi-jeong have officially begun their relationship. The preview for the upcoming story shows the couple growing closer through sweet moments, which will likely include their first official date.
Another romantic storyline that will develop further involves Nam Gi-jeong’s sister, Nam Geu-rin, and Koo Seon-ho. After a hesitant start, the two also shared a kiss and have begun dating. Their interactions are expected to be playful and heartwarming as they explore their new feelings for each other.
Beyond the romance, the narrative will continue to focus on the supportive community of the Spirit Fingers art club. The club’s gatherings will provide a backdrop for the characters to face new challenges and experience personal growth. The bond between Gi-jeong and Woo-yeon’s younger brother is also set to create more comedic and touching family moments.
Recap of the Story So Far
Spirit Fingers is based on a popular Naver Webtoon by Han Kyoung-chal. The series stars Park Ji-hu as Song Woo-yeon, a reserved high school student who often feels overlooked at home. Her life changes when she is invited to model for, and eventually join, a unique sketch club called “Spirit Fingers.” The club’s energetic and supportive members help her build her self-esteem and find her own voice.
The cast also includes Jo Joon-young as Nam Gi-jeong, a charismatic part-time model who catches Woo-yeon’s eye; Choi Bo-min as Koo Seon-ho, the club’s vice-president; and Park You-na as Nam Geu-rin, the club president and Gi-jeong’s older sister.
The drama reached a critical point in Episodes 7 and 8. After a comforting kiss, Woo-yeon and Gi-jeong’s relationship was tested by the arrival of Ahn Ye-rim, a former bully who falsely claimed to be Gi-jeong’s ex-girlfriend. After Ye-rim’s manipulations were exposed, Woo-yeon realized the truth and her own feelings. She found Gi-jeong and sincerely confessed that she likes him, leading to a heartfelt embrace. In a parallel storyline, Geu-rin, after initial confusion, reciprocated Seon-ho’s feelings, and the two shared a kiss.
The stage is now set for these new couples to navigate their relationships, with the Spirit Fingers club there to support them along the way.
