What Happened at the End of Season 4?

Her move was also motivated by a new romantic interest, Marcello, a handsome Italian fashion heir she met at a polo match.
“I don’t want to work with you, Marcello, I want to be with you,” Emily told him, clarifying her reasons for the trip.
Meanwhile, back in Paris, Gabriel had a change of heart. In the final moments of the season, he realized he had made a mistake and wanted to fight for Emily. This set up a classic love triangle for the new season.

“Emily’s going to have a presence in Rome,” Star said. “It doesn’t mean she’s not going to be in Paris”.
Filming for the season took place in both Rome and Paris. Scenes were also shot in the picturesque city of Venice.

With the release of a fifth season, many fans are asking if this could be the final chapter for Emily Cooper. Based on statements from the show’s creator, the answer appears to be no.
Darren Star has expressed a view that the show is not limited to a set number of seasons. In an interview, he explained that the rich ensemble of characters could support more stories.
“It’s not necessarily conceived as a final chapter,” Star told Deadline. “I think like every other show, it’s a rich ensemble. There’s no end in sight until everybody feels like it’s time to end”.

Actor Lucien Laviscount, who plays Alfie, hinted that the new season has surprising turns. “All I’m gonna say is strap in. Because it goes left, so far left, and a little bit right this season,” he told People magazine.
