The new season of the award-winning spy thriller Tehran is now underway on Apple TV+. The eight-episode third season debuted with its first chapter on January 9, 2026. Following the show’s weekly release pattern, Episode 2 is scheduled to arrive on Friday, January 16, 2026.

This season continues the high-stakes story of Niv Sultan’s Tamar Rabinyan, a Mossad hacker-agent operating in Iran. She is joined by returning stars Shaun Toub and Shila Ommi, with Hugh Laurie joining the cast as Eric Peterson, a South African nuclear inspector. The season picks up with Tamar on the run from both her own agency and Iranian security forces, forcing her to find a new way to survive.

Meanwhile, the story follows Faraz Kamali (Shaun Toub), the IRGC security chief, and his wife Nahid (Shila Ommi), as they fight for their own survival amidst the dangerous political landscape.
