The story follows Sarah Kim, an ambitious woman who builds a fake luxury brand to enter Seoul’s high society. She becomes a powerful but unseen figure in the fashion world. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she is identified as the victim in an unsolved murder case.

Detective Park Mu-gyeong is assigned to the case. His investigation uncovers that Sarah Kim’s life was a complete fabrication, raising a central question: who was she really, and what happened to her? The search for truth reveals a complex web of deception surrounding her identity.
Main Cast and Creative Team of The Art of Sarah
- Shin Hae-sun plays the lead role of Sarah Kim, also known as Kim Sa-ra. Shin is known for her versatile performances in hit series like Welcome to Samdal-ri, See You in My 19th Life, and Mr. Queen.
- Lee Jun-hyuk plays Park Mu-gyeong, the detective investigating the case. He has starred in Designated Survivor: 60 Days, Stranger, and Our Beloved Summer. This drama marks his reunion with Shin Hae-sun since they both appeared in the 2017 series Stranger.
- Kim Jae-won (Hierarchy, King the Land) plays a supporting role as Ji Hwan.
- Other confirmed cast members include Jung Da-bin and Shin Hyun-seung in supporting roles.
