The wait is almost over for anime fans around the world. AnimeJapan 2026 is bringing its biggest lineup ever to Tokyo Big Sight on March 28 and 29, with more than 50 stage events across four massive halls. Organizers have packed the two-day event with panels for nearly every major anime airing right now or coming soon, from Demon Slayer and One Piece to Frieren: Beyond Journeyโ€™s End and Jujutsu Kaisen .

This year marks the 13th time AnimeJapan has run since it started in 2014. The event will use more space than ever before, adding the South Exhibition Hall and Rooftop Exhibition Area on top of the usual East Exhibition Halls . More than 120 companies are setting up booths, making this the largest exhibitor list in the eventโ€™s history . Japanese idol group Sakurazaka46 returns for a second year as official ambassadors, and they will appear at the โ€œManga We Want to See Animated Ranking 2026โ€ awards on March 4 .

AnimeJapan 2026 Dates and Ticket Information

Public days run on Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29. Business days for industry professionals follow on March 30 and 31. A special Family Anime Festa 2026 also runs on the public days with activities for younger fans and families .

Ticket sales for people who want to enter the stage lotteries closed on February 24. But general admission tickets without stage lottery access remain on sale from February 25 through March 27 . Fans can buy tickets through the official AnimeJapan website. All stage times are in Japan Standard Time (JST), so international viewers should calculate the time difference for their region .

The RED Stage is always the main attraction at AnimeJapan, and this yearโ€™s lineup proves why. This is where the absolute biggest franchises hold their main events.

Saturday, March 28 โ€“ RED Stage

The first day kicks off with a talk party for Is the Order a Rabbit? The Movie featuring Ayane Sakura and Inori Minase . Right after, My Hero Academia shares the stage with its spinoff Vigilante. Voice actors Daiki Yamashita (Deku), Shuichiro Umeda, and Junichi Suwabe (Aizawa) are confirmed to appear .

The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba panel follows with main cast members Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro), Akari Kito (Nezuko), Hiro Shimono (Zenitsu), and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Inosuke) . Later in the afternoon, Jujutsu Kaisen takes over with Junya Enoki (Yuji), Megumi Ogata, Kazuya Nakai, and Tomokazu Sugita .

A major highlight is the Steel Ball Run JoJoโ€™s Bizarre Adventure Race Start Celebration. The cast includes Shogo Sakata, Yohei Azakami, and Kaito Ishikawa . The day closes with the One Piece: Elbaf Arc panel featuring Mayumi Tanaka (Luffy), Kazuya Nakai (Zoro), and Subaru Kimura (Franky) .

Sunday, March 29 โ€“ RED Stage

Day two on the RED Stage starts strong with ใ€OSHI NO KOใ€‘ . Takeo Otsuka (Aqua), Yurie Igoma (Ruby), Megumi Han (Akane), and Manaka Iwami (Kana) will be there .

The Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- panel follows with Yusuke Kobayashi (Subaru), Rie Takahashi (Emilia), Satomi Arai (Beatrice), and singer Konomi Suzuki . Frieren: Beyond Journeyโ€™s End S2 brings Atsumi Tanezaki (Frieren), Kana Ichinose (Fern), and Chiaki Kobayashi (Stark) to the stage .

Closing out the RED Stage is the Sound! Euphonium, The Final Movie panel with Tomoyo Kurosawa, Sayaka Asai, Moe Toyoda, and Chika Anzai .

The GREEN Stage features fantasy heavyweights on Saturday. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation S3 brings Yumi Uchiyama (Rudeus), Konomi Kohara, and Ai Kayano . Witch Hat Atelier has Rena Motomura and Natsuki Hanae scheduled . The day ends with Mission: Yozakura Family S2 featuring a huge cast including Reiji Kawashima, Kaede Hondo, and Katsuyuki Konishi .

Sundayโ€™s GREEN Stage includes The Eminence in the Shadow with Seiichiro Yamashita (Cid), Asami Seto (Alpha), and Inori Minase . BLUE Stage: Netflix Originals and Sports Anime

The BLUE Stage on Saturday is packed with sports and Netflix content. MEDALIST, the popular figure skating anime, features Natsumi Haruse, Takeo Otsuka, Kana Ichinose, and Yuma Uchida .

The Netflix Special Stage includes Chikahiro Kobayashi and Megumi Han, though the specific titles remain under wraps . Rumiko Takahashiโ€™s Latest Work, TV Anime โ€œMAOโ€ Preโ€‘Broadcast Premiere Event brings Yuki Kaji, Natsumi Kawaida, and Hiro Shimono . The day wraps with the AnimeJapan New Creator Award 2026 Ceremony .

Sunday on BLUE features The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten S2 with Taito Ban (Amane) and Manaka Iwami (Mahiru) . Yuma Uchida returns for Twentieth Century Electric Catalog – Eureka Evrika alongside Sora Amamiya . The New Movie โ˜† Sgt. Frog Returns panel includes Kumiko Watanabe, Etsuko Kozakura, and special guest Ano .

WHITE Stage: Returning Favorites and New Adaptations

Exhibitor Booths and Exclusive Merchandise

Beyond the main stages, company booths offer another layer of experiences. Aniplex runs 15 stage events across both days inside their booth area, featuring titles like Fate/strange Fake with Maaya Sakamoto and Wataru Hatano, Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend, and Demon Slayer . The Aniplex booth also displays artwork and sells exclusive merchandise .

KADOKAWA designed their booth around a โ€œFantasy Forestโ€ theme. They are recreating the Augria Dunes from Re:ZERO Season 4 and building large displays for ใ€OSHI NO KOใ€‘ . A photo spot for MEDALIST lets fans take pictures with cutouts of Inori and Tsukasa . The KADOKAWA livestream stage features Sword Dad, Replica Also Falls in Love, and Made in Abyss panels .
