The trash talk between Logan Paul and Tom Brady finally reached its peak on the field, and Paul is not letting anyone forget about it. The WWE star and social media influencer took to social media after the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in Los Angeles to issue what he called an apology. But the video message was filled with sarcastic jabs aimed at Brady, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, and anyone who ever doubted his athletic skills.
The event, held on March 21, 2026, at BMO Stadium, brought together NFL legends, current stars, and the U.S. men’s national flag football team. While the games were meant to promote the sport ahead of the 2028 Olympics, Paul made sure the focus stayed on his performance and his ongoing feud with the seven-time Super Bowl champion.
Logan Paul Apologizes for Making Brady “Fear for His Life”
The tension between Paul and Brady had been simmering for weeks. Brady had previously called WWE “cute,” saying that flag football was “real competition.” Paul fired back by claiming he could beat any NFL player in a fight. That back-and-forth led to a heated moment during the game when Brady threw a football at Paul after a play, sparking a confrontation that went viral.
In his video apology, Paul addressed that incident directly. He claimed he put so much pressure on the 48-year-old quarterback that Brady got frustrated and lost his cool.
“I’d like to apologize to Tom Brady for applying so much pressure on you play after play after play that had you literally fearing for your life. I understand you’re older, it’s not like you could go anywhere, and you got frustrated, which is why you threw the ball at me. And I want you to know that I forgive you for that because that’s what real men do.”
The video also included a jab at Jalen Hurts. Paul claimed he sacked the Eagles quarterback and deflected a pass that led to an interception. He sarcastically suggested that Hurts might lose his job because of those plays.
“If you get traded or your contract gets cut down, now we know why, and it’s probably pretty embarrassing, so I am sorry,” Paul said.
On-Field Confrontations and Viral Moments
The game itself was full of drama. During the match between Paul’s Wildcats and Brady’s Founders, cameras captured Brady tossing the football at Paul after a play. Paul immediately shouted that Brady threw the ball at him, while Brady responded with a dismissive “That’s crazy, bro.”
The exchange escalated quickly. Paul stepped toward Brady, and the two exchanged words before a referee stepped in to separate them. Comedian Kevin Hart, who was also involved in the event, had to physically step in earlier to keep the two apart.
Paul also had another viral moment during the event. He ripped the sunglasses off Darrell Doucette, a member of Team USA, and threw them to the ground after Doucette reportedly trash-talked him. Paul addressed that moment in his apology video as well, apologizing for getting caught up in the heat of the moment.
Team USA Wins the Tournament as Paul’s Trash Talk Continues
Despite all the noise, the actual winner of the Fanatics Flag Football Classic was Team USA. The national team went 3-0 on the day, beating Paul’s Wildcats 39-16 and Brady’s Founders 43-16. The Wildcats later lost to Team USA again in the championship game, 24-14.
Brady’s team finished the day 0-2. Even though Brady showed flashes of his old form, throwing a touchdown to Stefon Diggs on his first drive, it was not enough to get a win.
Paul’s team did manage to beat Brady’s squad 34-26 earlier in the tournament, which gave Paul the bragging rights he wanted. After the game, Paul posted on X: “I beat Tom Brady.”
But social media users were quick to remind him that it was flag football and that Team USA dominated both of their teams. One user responded, “Bro said ‘I beat Tom Brady’ like he just dropped a 7-touchdown masterclass in the Super Bowl. Meanwhile it was flag football, no pads.”
Gronkowski and Brady Add Fuel to the Fire
The feud between Paul and NFL players did not start with Brady. Days before the Flag Football Classic, Paul and former NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski had to be separated by Kevin Hart at a press event. Video showed Paul shouting at Gronkowski, saying, “I’m going to beat your [expletive], then I’m going to beat all your brothers’ [expletive].”
Gronkowski shouted back before Hart stepped in, telling them to save it for the field. Gronkowski had previously said on FanDuel TV’s “Up & Adams” that he would gladly fight Paul, saying, “If Logan Paul wants a piece of me, I’m down. I’ll whoop his [expletive].”
Brady had also added to the tension by calling what Paul does in WWE “cute” and “scripted,” which clearly did not sit well with the WWE star.

Paul Closes with a Message to His Critics
Paul ended his apology video with a direct message to everyone who has doubted his athletic ability over the years. Known for his boxing matches and WWE performances, Paul has often faced criticism from sports fans who do not take him seriously.
“And lastly, I want to apologize to everyone that said that I was not a great athlete, because you all look stupid as hell right now. Thank you.”
That line became the headline of the day, with fans and sports media outlets picking up on Paul’s confidence after the flag football showcase. Whether his performance actually proved anything to his critics is still up for debate, but Paul made sure his voice was the loudest after the games ended.
